Valparaíso, a port city surrounded by the sea and small picturesque houses, which tell stories in their own way, some gnawed by time and the patter of years before the sea breeze and the saltpeter, between some spaces you can see spaces dotted with color. This commune of Chile is located approximately two hours from the Capital Santiago, it is recognized as a historic center, but also as one of the busiest ports in the South Pacific and therefore in Chile. In addition to this, it is a university city, as there are some of the most recognized universities in Chile. Thanks to the architectural wealth of Valparaíso, its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Among so many hills (42 approx) are some more famous than others like Cerro Alegre, Cerro Concepción, Cerro Panteón and Cerro Cárcel. These can be climbed through the stairs that are lost through the hills or through panoramic elevators, a quite beautiful experience, since in many it is possible to see the immensity of the Pacific and the boats parked in the port.

The run through its streets must be done, as there are dozens of colorful murals, portraits, phrases, very representative of this city. In addition to colorful houses and staircases full of designs, I went just one day and I think it fell short, because I feel that I have a long way to go, I hope to return soon and enjoy a little more because with the pandemic you cannot do many things or visit some famous places that were closed, I also enjoyed the trip, the landscape and the very bohemian vibes of the place.
