Hello everyone and welcome back! I apologize for this prolonged absence but traveling on a sabbatical is a beautiful and intense experience! I will tell you about all the experiences I am having in future articles and I promise I will be more present! But now let's get back to the main topic of this article!

Swimming in a waterfall is perilous due to several reasons. Firstly, the force of the water cascading down can be unexpectedly strong, creating powerful currents that can easily overwhelm even strong swimmers. Additionally, the presence of submerged rocks and uneven terrain beneath the surface poses a significant risk of injury, as individuals may collide with these obstacles or become trapped in underwater crevices.
The beauty of the jungle surrounding a waterfall is a symphony of green hues, where lush foliage embraces towering trees, creating a verdant sanctuary. The air is thick with the scent of earth and vegetation, while the calls of exotic birds and the rustle of unseen creatures provide a mesmerizing soundtrack.
A path has been built with which it is possible to climb the waterfall on foot...
In addition to the path there are small shops and restaurants where you can rest and eat if you are hungry. One aspect to take into account is that compared to the village at the bottom of the waterfall the prices here are a little higher.
The style of the buildings is very suggestive. Being able to walk in the midst of nature and hear the noise of birds and water and at the same time being able to visit (tourist) shops that sell typical local products has its own charm.
I really like this photo because you can see a variety of nature. It's really a shame that we can't convey the soothing sound of water. Would you like to live near a waterfall? Being able to drink a coffee every morning in front of such beauty?

Back in the village I took these photos to better show the shops that can be found in this wonderful corner of nature.
I tried to wait more than ten minutes to take a photo of the writing without any people but it was impossible! Although from the photos there seem to be few people, in reality this area of the village is very busy!
Speaking with a person who lives in another state of Mexico, she told me that it is a dream of her life to visit these waterfalls!
Another photo showing the buildings of the village. When I took these photos we were not in high tourist season and the shops on the path that accompany the waterfalls were closing around three in the afternoon, however in the center of the village the restaurants and shops were still open!
