Hi everyone!
Today I have the pleasure of talking about the visit to the Misol Ha waterfall in Chiapas! I don't remember the last time I saw a waterfall in person but it was a wonderful experience.
I love water in all its forms... the sea, the ocean, a stream and now I'm finally adding a waterfall to my list.
I left from the city of Palenque and in less than an hour, through an organized colectivo, we reached this place surrounded by jungle.
Walking down the street I was surprised that there were houses near the waterfall. How wonderful would it be to be able to live near a waterfall and be able to go there as often as a person wants?
A sign in Spanish, French and English indicates what the rules are for visiting the waterfall. It makes me smile that it is recommended not to swim in heavy clothes but at the same time people are unpredictable so it is right to point out all the recommendations. Furthermore, the bottom of the waterfall is 25 meters deep!
And here is the first visit to the waterfall that I found in front of me..
From the photos it is not clearly visible but there is a path to walk inside and behind the cave... let's start walking together!
Along the route there are signs for irresponsible tourists and it is also right to continue to indicate the right instructions if someone has forgotten to read a sign...
It's beautiful to walk immersed in the jungle and the sound of the waterfall... it's like going on a magical trek!
A tourist wanted to make an immersive video in the middle of the waterfall..
During the walk your clothes get slightly wet as the wind moves the water droplets and in some parts of the route you can even touch the splashes of the waterfall
..at the end of the route, at the top there is a cave!
