Today I share my adventures on my trip to Spain. One evening, for dinner, we organized so that my sister could visit the Island of La Toja and on the other side of the bridge or Grove, in the province of Pontevedra, at the entrance to the Rías de Arosa, which is located in the northwest of Spain, in Galicia.

Hoy compartiendo mis aventuras vividas en mi viaje a España. Una tarde, ya para cenar nos organizamos para que mi hermana conociera la Isla de la Toja y al otro lado del puente o Grove provincia de Pontevedra a la entrada de la Rias de Arosa, esto queda situado al noroeste de España, en Galicia.
This place is ideal to go with the family and admire its beauty.
Something I really like is to go for a walk. These vacation days were like that. I don't remember a day that I stayed at home. The only day I remember like that was the day before the return trip, to leave everything organized and also to be rested.
Este lugar es ideal para ir en familia y contemplar su hermosura.
Algo que me gusta mucho es pasear, estos días de vacaciones fueron así, no recuerdo un día que me haya quedado en casa , el único día que recuerdo así fue el día anterior al viaje de retorno, para dejar todo organizado y también para estar descansados.
We arrived at the Island of La Toja, where we can walk along the promenade and also find crafts and clothes. I stopped and bought a bracelet that, according to the lady who sold it to me, would bring me a lot of abundance and good luck. It cost me 2 euros, if I remember correctly. The lady was near the church and talked to me a little. She explained to me what legend has it that the waters of La Toja are medicinal. She told me that there is a story about a donkey that is in the middle of the square. Its owner abandoned it in past centuries so that the little animal would die because it had many wounds. Her surprise was that after several days the donkey was perfect and healthy, which is why they refer to the medicinal nature of the waters of this small island.
Llegamos a la Isla de la Toja , en donde podemos caminar por el paseo marítimo, también encontrar artesanías y prendas, yo me detuve y compré una pulsera que según la señora que me lo vendió me traería mucha abundancia y buena suerte, me costó si mal no recuerdo 2 euros. La señora estaba cerca de la iglesia y habló un poco conmigo, me explicó lo que cuenta la leyenda que las aguas de la Toja son medicinales, me dijo que hay una historia de un burro que está en medio de la plaza, que su dueño lo abandonó en los siglos pasados para que el animalito se muriera porque tenía muchas heridas y su sorpresa fue que el burro después de varios días estaba perfecto y sano, por eso hacen referencia a lo medicinal de las aguas de esta pequeña isla.
Something very particular about this island is the structure of the Church of La Toja, it is covered with scallop shells, where tourists leave their signatures. It is also said that these shells were used as protection to avoid humidity, but the truth is that this church is very beautiful.
The island of La Toja is considered one of the best tourist places in Galicia, we can find a train that takes tourists on a tour of this small island, we did not take it because we preferred to walk.
This name of La Toja reminds me of my father-in-law, he talked a lot about this place and when he came on vacation he visited its spas, he also used a lot of La Toja brand products, he used a lotion after shaving to refresh himself.
After walking around here, we went by car to the other side of the bridge to O Grove looking for a place to have dinner.
Algo muy particular en esta isla es la estructura de la Iglesia de la Toja, está cubierta de conchas de vieiras, en donde los turistas dejan plasmadas su firmas. Se dice también que utilizaron estas cochas como protección para evitar la humedad, pero la verdad que esta iglesia es muy hermosa.
La isla de la Toja es considerada como unos de los mejores lugares turísticos de Galicia, podemos encontrar un tren que da el paseo a los turistas por esta pequeña isla , nosotros no lo tomamos porque preferimos caminar .
Este nombre de la Toja me recuerda a mi suegro, el hablaba muchísimos de este lugar y cuando el venía de paseo visitaba sus balnearios, también utilizaba mucho los productos marca la Toja, utilizaba después de afeitarse una loción para refrescar.
Después de caminar por acá, fuimos en el automóvil hasta el otro lado del puente para o Grove buscando un lugar para cenar.
But first of all we captured those beautiful photographs, however I didn't take many photos because my phone turned off, the good thing is that I managed to capture some.
Pero antes de todo capturamos esas hermosas fotografías, sin embargo yo no tomé tantas fotos porque mi teléfono se apagó , lo bueno es que logré capturar algunas .
It was quite cold that day, so I was well wrapped up. It was precisely because of the cold that we decided to go somewhere more closed in.
We arrived for dinner and ordered a delicious paella and also seafood.
Ese día hacia bastante frío, por eso andaba bien abrigada, justamente por el frío que hacía decidimos ir a un lugar más cerrado.
Llegamos a cenar y pedimos una riquísima paella y también mariscos.
