Hola, amigos de Hive espero que se encuentren muy bien y tengan un excelente martes!! Hoy les vengo a compartir un lindo paseo en familia. La verdad es que tanto Ceci (mi esposa) como a miii, nos encantan los castillos y sus historias. En unas de las vueltas a casa, cambiamos nuestra ruta y nos encontramos con el hermoso Castillo Pittamiglio.
Hello, friends of Hive I hope you are very well and have an excellent Tuesday !! Today I come to share a nice family outing. The truth is that both Ceci (my wife) and I love castles and their stories. In one of the returns home, we change our route and we find the beautiful Pittamiglio Castle.
El Castillo fue construido por el arquitecto y político Humberto Pittamiglio en el año 1956, ubicado sobre la ruta 71 balneario Las Flores ,departamento Maldonado, Uruguay. La verdad la experiencia fue fantástica, era la primera vez que entraba a un castillo de ese tipo. Como dicen ahí, todo lo que aparenta no es y lo que aparenta es.
La realidad es que cuando uno llega y lo ve desde afuera parece inmenso, pero al entrar te das cuenta de que es todo fachada, casi todo es jardines y solo una pequeña parte del edificio contiene habitaciones.
The Castle was built by the architect and politician Humberto Pittamiglio in 1956, located on Route 71, Las Flores spa, Maldonado department, Uruguay. The truth is that the experience was fantastic, it was the first time that I had entered a castle of that type.As they say there, everything that appears is not and what appears is. .
The reality is that when you arrive and see it from the outside it seems immense, but when you enter you realize that it is all facade, almost everything is gardens and only a small part of the building contains rooms.
Humberto Pittamiglio estaba vinculado con la alquimia y su castillo fue diseñado siguiendo las reglas de la misma. Tiene un enorme jardín, con figuras de animales y símbolos esotéricos. Y en el fondo del jardín un cristo. Todos sus puntos son estratégicos, desde la entrada del sol, el atardecer, la incidencia de la luna y distintos fenómenos astrológicos que proveen de una energía especial a todo el lugar. Pittamiglio construyo el edificio al quedar encantado con el castillo de Francisco Piria (otro famoso alquimista de Uruguay).
Humberto Pittamiglio was linked to alchemy and his castle was designed following its rules. The castle has a huge garden, with animal figures and esoteric symbols.And at the bottom of the garden a Christ.all its points are strategic, from the entrance of the sun, the sunset, the incidence of the moon and different astrological phenomena that provide a special energy to the whole place.Pittamiglio built the building when he was enchanted by the castle of Francisco Piria (another famous alchemist from Uruguay).

When you enter the place, the energies and aromas invade you. The music grabs you, it's hard to explain what it feels like. Beautiful experience, it is a magical place.
