The Chandranath Temple: Where heaven units divinity and nature in perfect harmony kissing the earth!

Hello, Hivers. I hope you are doing well by the grace of the almighty. It's been a while since I joined the hive but I couldn't be regular due to my busy schedule. I hope to stay fully active in the Hive. Today, I will share one of my life's most memorable tours with you.
Have you ever faced a planned tour getting canceled and on the other hand, an unplanned tour is the one that comes true? Does this happen to you too?
I am sharing with you the unexpected trip that I experienced. Let's dive into it, shall we?
This tour was in early 2024. I was lying on my bed and lazily scrolling my phone. One of my friends came to me and said, "Let's go somewhere". I smiled hearing his words because that was not the first time we were planning a tour and I was sure that tour too wouldn't take place and I thought it was a joke at first but I wondered when he successfully managed my other friends too and he was like," Get ready in 10 minutes we are going The Chandranath Temple". That was when my journey to The Chandranath Temple began with my phone and my water bottle.
let me tell you about The Chandranath Temple first. The Chandranath Temple, located in Sitakunda, Chattogram, Bangladesh, is a Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to lord Shiva. It is situated at the top of Chandranath Hill and has a breathtaking view and is also known as "Shakti peeth". Devotees and Tourists come here all year round, especially during the annual Shiva Chaturdarshi festival.

We left early In the morning because its height is around 310 meters (1017ft) and we had to climb on here and climbing the mountain in the sun would be a problem. So, we boarded the bus at 8 am and finally arrived around 10 am.
The Chandranath temple we are talking about is on the top of the mountain you are looking at in the picture below.

We took some photos together by the time we reached there.

My niece and some of my younger brothers joined us on that tour. To climb or hike Chandranath Hill, you must have a stick with you because some parts of Chandranath are very steep. So, each of us bought a stick. Now, we were at the very base of Chandranath, and we started our hiking from there. So, let's go together to the top of The Chandranath, Shall we?
The road was flat at the beginning so that was why no one suffered much. As soon as we approached the Jagannath Temple, we saw the peak of the Chandranath temple. Virupaksha temple can also seen from there. There is a steep slope and on the other hand, there is a high mountain in front. The main hiking started from there. We had to rest in multiple places because everyone got tired very quickly but I think no one ever thought about going back because the scenic beauty we had encountered there was just on another level. I enjoyed that so much. I have a habit maybe it is a bad habit you can say that I talk to myself quietly but that day I was not only talking with myself I was trying to talk with the mountain itself, trees, birds, winds all those around me and when I looked up then I realized some clouds also joined with us on that journey.

It took us around 2 hours to reach this middle point of Chandranath. I mentioned before that, my niece joined us. She got us into trouble because she had asthma and she didn't tell us about that. She told me about her asthma when we were in the middle of the mountain and she also was having a problem with her breathing due to her asthma. I was really scared then if anything happened to her we couldn't get her to the hospital because we were then in the middle of the mountain. later on, she recovered and we continued our hiking. The reason I shared the matter is who are physically challenged to climb the hill should be careful or avoid it.
So, let's get back to the story again. We were having great fun on the way to the Chandranath temple.

(One of my friends, Emon, also he was my roommate once, challenged me that I could not lift him and told that if I could lift him up, he would give me treat, so I accepted the challenge and who won the challenge now you decide😂)
)

I won right, didn't I? But he refused to give me a treat then so I had no choice but this😐

can you guess who won here?😂. let me know in the comment box.

After 4 hours of hiking, we finally reached the top of the Chandranath. You just can't imagine the beauty of the Chandranath unless you see it in your own eyes. wait! Let me grab a couple of photos for you.

And finally, we were in the much-awaited Chandranath Shiva Temple.

So, here ends my unexpected tour and one of the most memorable and beautiful moments I shared with you.
So, thank you for staying with me till the end of this blog. I hope you will visit this place too. I will rate this place 8/10 for an outing with your friends and family. So, Take care of yourself and be safe.
Until next time. Bye!
