Hi ๐Fellows, how are you all? I hope you're all safe and sound ๐. Today I am going to share with you a great historical monument by witnessing great changes in Ho Chi Minh City's unique history after Vietnamese war!! Yes, I am going to talking ๐ about the Independence Palace.
Independence Palace, also known as Reunification Palace, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ๐ป๐ณ
I was going there in the morning at 7:30 am. My hotel ๐จ was near the Palace in District 1. So I preferred walking ๐. The weather was cool๐ and Sky was clear ๐.
I took this picture ๐ท from the front side. This Palace is surrounded by a very high iron fence.
This is the main gate of the Independence Palace.
Waiting for tickets
The beautiful ๐ and calm Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street.
Front view of the Palace, there is a big fountain โฒ๐ณ exactly sitting in the middle of the green lawn ๐.
Independence Palace is listed as a historical monument as a witness of Vietnamese War. The building has the essence of Eastern culture ๐ฎ. Throughout the heroic battles, this amazing architecture had witnessed almost every high and low of Vietnamese War.
In front of the Palace I took this photo ๐ท๐.
Let's talk a little bit about history!!
The French government started to design and build a mansion as a government residence in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City aka Old Saigon in 1868 during the war. Then it was called Norodom Palace. This Palace was fully completed in 1871. After free from French colonisation the new president of Vietnam ๐ป๐ณ Ngo Dinh Diem changed the name of Palace into independence Palace ๐.
There is a big garden full of old trees ๐ณ around here ๐.
The little witness of Vietnamese War. Or you can call it War junkies๐ถ.
The entrance of Palace building
A big conference room for colonial meetings.
Dining Hall for imperial guests.
A great artwork ๐. This balcony is the witness of great architectural design ๐.
I took these photos from the balcony. This parking lot creates really amazing artwork ๐. And the white flowers are creating another dimension in the frame ๐๐.
Wow these lovely orchids are something to lay on. ๐
I stayed there for 3 hours. It's a big place, and I need lots of time to visit the whole area. And there was a small food court. But I did buy some food. I enjoyed my whole time visiting here. And it was fun. After that I went for my another journey ๐. I hope you people enjoyed my experience in Independence Palace. If you like then give yourself a chance to visit there. See you soon ๐. Lots of love โค. Bye ๐
