Overnight Stay Near Narita Airport For Convenience

Hi! Hello! 👋

Have you ever visited Japan and your flight back home is from Narita and too early than the first train from Tokyo? Let me share with you where I stayed so I didn't have to miss my flight so early in the morning.

Please note that this is not a sponsored post lol. Just out here sharing information that might be helpful to others.

So, when I went to Korea earlier this year. I had to arrive early to he airport. My flight was actually not that early. I think it was around 10am or so? But I live far away from the airport. My total train ride would be 2.5hrs to Narita. The first train is at 5:10am, so then I have to wake up early to get ready. I didn't want to do that, it would be so exhausting. And because it's an international flight, I didn't want to have a very tight buffer time before checkin closes.

My friend had actually shared this with me before so now I am also sharing it here. There are a couple of cheap hotels around Narita airport that offers free bus rides to and from the airport.

I booked myself the cheapest room in Art Hotel in Narita. It's one of the cheap options from the MyStays chain of hotel lineup. The room was priced at 7,000JPY which is considered cheap. With this price, you'll most likely only get a from from capsule hotels or small business hotels, which offers very little space.

The room I got was a twin room. The room was very spacious and would fit a couple of open luggages on the floor. I was a bit far from the reception hall though. I had to go through lots of hallways. Which was a bit sus because it too quiet.

And another one

Wide view of the room

desk, chairs, tv, fridge, mirrors

Beds and sleep wear

Chapel just outside the room

The room had your typical desk and beds but I really wasn't expecting the extra sofa chair. Outside, there's a chapel and a pond, which I couldn't see clearly because it was too dark already.

I did have a toilet and bath but I went to the hotels onsen since it's free for guests to use. Not allowed to take picture though. There's also a convenience store just around the reception area so when I got hungry I just bought myself a cup noodles. It is not a very fancy hotel but it's pretty good for a short stay so you don't have to miss your early flight. But I wouldn't recommend staying here during your entire stay if you are visiting Tokyo, it's too far.

Their buses going to and from the airport are scheduled so better check in advance as there are queues. You may have to wait long or not depends on the time or season. But it's just a 15-minute ride so it's really convenient.

I have booked mine directly from the hotels website which is https://art-narita.com

There are quite a few more hotel options that are similar to this. So try checking those as well.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog.
