On the fourth day we went kayaking as a family. My daughter and I went in one kayak, and my son and husband went in the single-seater.
The view from our kayaks was so beautiful and that made our ride even more enjoyable. We could see another resort with white houses on a hill.
My daughter was a little upset that she wasn't trusted with a single seat, but then I let her paddle on her own while I was taking pictures of the beautiful area around us. I think she really enjoyed being in control of our kayak.
After kayaking we swam in the Caribbean Sea. The sea is awesome, there are some waves sometimes, but not big ones. The water is a little cool, but not cold, in sunny weather just right.
While grandparents were sunbathing, I was swimming, and the kids were building a sand castle. They dragged sea cobblestones and rocks to strengthen the castle. In between, when they’d get hot, they ran out for drinks and milkshakes.
It’s really nice that at any time the children could swim in the pool or the sea. One of the adults was always watching them. It was very handy when there were a lot of adults, each of us could take turns relaxing. Keeping an eye on the kids on the beach while sipping a cocktail isn't really difficult. It’s so different from when we help with the homework or a project, I guess without the pressure life feel’s more enjoyable.
On the beach there were people who were enjoying sailing catamarans. It looks so easy to ride it, but I know that it only looks easier than it is. I think our Grandpa did that, but I was somewhere else, so I didn’t get the chance to see. I really liked photographing the ones that were parked, that way I could get a closer look.
Our little Hermit crab was in her new shell digging in the sand. Kids liked that feeling of having a pet. Happy kids - happy parents, did you know that saying? :-)
I hope you enjoyed the photos.

That sand castle would require some more work 🙂 But great idea of bringing stones and rocks to strengthen it.
I would never do kayaking but I'm happy you did as you showed us some great photos of the area. The water indeed looks calm and I can imagine that you had a lot of fun.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you @delishtreats 🙌, my son didn't have any tools for his sandcastle 😅, he was making an experiment to see if the construction would survive from waves the next morning. One day we saw a sea crab walking near the castle. I was happy kids were entertained and busy with the nature, it's hard to do when we live in the city.
This place really made me want a very beautiful holiday right shot
