Day one is here, if you’d like to check it out
Dinner at the resort was awesome. The menu each day for dinner consisted of appetizer, soup of the day, salad, main course and dessert. Every night it is a different dish and the dessert menu also changes. They also offer alcohol and soft drinks. I was getting my bed time tea with the dessert and other decaf coffee.
I can’t remember what we ate that day, because we eat so much food, and the food here is so delicious, all day long you can order smoothies, milkshakes, ice cream, and soft drinks in unlimited quantities. On the third day, we were felt like we ate so much that we stopped ordering milkshakes so often. The kids, of course, took the opportunity to drink any soda and ate ice cream to excess.
On the second day in the morning there was no word about our luggage, so immediately after breakfast, the driver from the resort took us to the mall. He said a time when he would be back for us and we went looking for clothes for the first time, plus flip flops and bathing suits. Interestingly, in the more expensive stores, we were asked for our passports to check our flights, when and where we were leaving, somehow this ensures a safe shopping experience. Anyway, I'm glad I insisted on taking our passports with us and they came in handy.
Surprisingly, the clothes here seemed to be cheaper than in the US., and we were glad to get us some new outfits. The driver returned at the appointed time, the road was fairly smooth and took us about 15 minutes one way.
The pictures turned out not so great because of the moving car and the tinted windows, but at least it gives an idea how the road looks.
After arriving to the resort a delicious lunch awaited us and then we hurried to try on our swim suits. We went to the pool. There we found a drink bar where we could make our own cocktails. The kids didn't notice where the floor tiles end and the bar countertop starts because they are on the same level and there are no special markings.
They accidentally stepped on the bar. Immediately I felt a disapproving look on my face. The strict older lady didn't take her eyes off of us, she was very unhappy. I said, to the children, that we were doing something wrong, and we realized our mistake.
After that, the lady wouldn't let us out of her sight. She pretended to be reading a book, but we could see her watching us from under the book. So I didn't allow the kids to make any noise or pamper themselves in the pool. Soon during our vacation we switched to swimming in the sea, that way both the strict lady and us were able to enjoy our vacation time.
So we ran back and forth between the bars and the beach for half a day. In general, there are three bars here. One by the pool with self-service, the second one by the beach, and the third where they drink afternoon tea and socialize before dinner.
All official meals are scheduled here, and tea at five o'clock, and socializing before dinner at 7:30 are on their list.
Why is there afternoon tea, because, here, most of the guests are from the UK, and the manager is from there as well. It is very nice to hear a classic British accent and have 5 o'clock tea, it reminds me of my English textbook from high school :-) I love these people for their aristocratic look and accent, and also their sense of humor and sarcasm.
I forgot to mention that our kids here were the only ones in their age group, and they were offered a separate menu each day. Like pizza, burgers, pasta with cheese sauce, since western kids mostly don't eat from the adult menu. Although our kids sometimes like to try the adult menu as well. Children were treated very well, they loved the workers for being nice with them. Although this resort is intended for adults and older people who are looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, our children were treated very well and with great respect.
What else struck me is that the rooms are cleaned every single day. Each cabin has its own person who comes to make the bed, cleans the room, puts things in their places, and restock the mini-fridge. Since I used all the little disposable cups of cream for my tea, they just supplied us with a big carton of regular milk. I was very pleased that our housekeeper was so responsible and observed what we needed most.
I hope you enjoyed the photos.

Thank you for visiting!
Sounds like an enjoyable trip.
The kids will sure love buffet style ice cream serving.
Oh yeah, they had so many milkshakes this time, I wish I had that when I was a kid 😅
The summer is coming then that is great when we can go to the beach, to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and try the seafood or ice cream. right?
It's really nice. It felt like we were getting spoiled:-)
