Muy buenas a todos en Hive y la comunidad haveyoubeenhere y hoy vengo a hablarles un poco de uno de mis lugares favoritos en mi país natal Venezuela, un bioma que solo se puede encontrar en un pequeño espacio de tierra pero que para nuestro ojos es como ver el mismísimo desierto del Sahara y este es:
Hello everyone at Hive and the haveyoubeenhere community and today I come to tell you a little bit about one of my favourite places in my home country Venezuela, a biome that can only be found in a small area of land but for our eyes is like seeing the Sahara desert itself and this is it:

Ubicado en el estado falcón específicamente entre la península de Paraguaná y el resto del estado es una zona desértica cuya mayor características esta en sus grandes dunas formaciones de arena producto de la erosión y el desplazamiento de los sedimentos de las rocas mediante el viento estos se terminan acumulando en toda la franja que une la península con el continente formando en si un ecosistema único e irrepetible en todo el país.
Located in the state of Falcón, specifically between the peninsula of Paraguaná and the rest of the state, it is a desert area whose main characteristics are its large sand dunes, the product of erosion and the displacement of sediments from the rocks by the wind, which end up accumulating along the entire strip that joins the peninsula with the mainland, forming a unique ecosystem that is unrepeatable in the whole country.

Para mi la primera vez al ver los médanos fue de increíble emoción, no podía creer en en Venezuela existiera un desierto como este ya que solo lo había visto en documentales de Discovery, animal planet o natgeo y por si fuera poco estaban en otro continente.
For me, the first time I saw the dunes was an incredible emotion, I couldn't believe that in Venezuela there was a desert like this, as I had only seen it in documentaries on Discovery, animal planet or natgeo, and if that wasn't enough, it was on another continent.

Recuerdo que mis dos hermanas y yo no hicimos mas que apenas estacionar el auto salir corriendo a subir aquellas montañas que no son nada fácil subir xd ya que se te entierran los pies en la arena y mas esta ardiendo aten el sol.
I remember that my two sisters and I did nothing more than as soon as we parked the car we ran to climb those mountains which are not easy to climb xd as your feet get buried in the sand and the sun is burning hot.

Pero una vez en la sima solo te das cuenta que mas adelante de ti hay otra duna mas grande hahaha, las vistas desde arriba son simplemente increíbles, te das cuenta de lo impresionante que es la naturaleza porque si estas en un dia con suerte puedes ver como el viento mueve poco a poco la arena de las dunas, dándote la sensación de que en si ellas están vivas y hasta se comen la carretera.
But once in the chasm you only realise that ahead of you there is another bigger dune hahaha, the views from the top are just amazing you realise how impressive nature is because if you are on a lucky day you can see how the wind moves little by little the sand of the dunes giving you the sensation that they are alive and they even eat the road.

A su vez no todo es solo arena, muchas veces te encuentras con pequeños oasis de agua pura filtrada a través de las dunas, de las que se llenan de vegetación y alguno que otro animal así como de personas locas como yo que probaron del agua muy sabrosa por cierto xd.
At the same time it's not all sand, sometimes you find small oasis of pure water filtered through the dunes which are filled with vegetation and some animals as well as crazy people like me who tasted the water, very tasty by the way xd.

Realmente tenerla oportunidad de estar en ambientes como esos nos da una enorme enseñanza de lo diverso que es nuestro mundo ya que en el mundo son pocos los lugares donde se dan las condiciones para crear tan impresionantes paisajes por lo que hay que apreciar nuestro mundo y cuidar de el.
really having the opportunity to be in environments like these gives us a huge lesson in how diverse our world is. There are few places in the world where the conditions are right to create such impressive landscapes, so we have to appreciate our world and take care of it.
