Realizing a hope is not easy, like what is happening now, my hope is only to go to an area in Indonesia. It has been a long time since I have toured Indonesia, I only like to glance at areas with cheap plane tickets, my money is not enough to land beautifully on the island of Java.
But fate said otherwise, I can realize one of the things I really want to do, I can go to the island of Java, in fact the plus is I can explore from end to end. Some of them are favorite cities, one of which is the city of Bandung.
They say that Bandung has 1000 reasons to visit. Paris van Java is the name, meaning a city full of entertainment, attractions and beauty like Paris. Isn't that right? One of the interesti places in the city of Bandung is Braga Street. I thought everyone gathered in one place in this city. The center of everything for young people.
Braga street is famous for its old buildings, built in the colonial era. Interestingly, all of these buildings are still well maintained, used for many things. There is an interesting building, quite old, called Gedung Pusat Kebudayaan, here is a place where many people work, of course for the local people of Bandung and West Java.
Interestingly, this time there is an exhibition that is free for anyone. Actually this is an exhibition to raise funds, made by painters and artists to get funds and the results will be given to help Palestine.
From the beginning to the end, there are so many paintings depicting many events in Palestine. Very heartbreaking. Honestly, I am a layman who does not understand a painting, but I can judge whether the painting looks real and beautiful, the combination of colors and also its aesthetic shape. I only know that.
This building is not too big but can display so many paintings in every corner. They made a plan where the paintings and works of the artists can be seen by all visitors who come. No half measures, there are many corners that have been changed like a luxurious exhibition place. But unfortunately, this place looks a little unkempt, but still very decent. I mean, the walls are a little dusty and the floor is not shiny.
All visitors are allowed to enter as long as they meet one requirement, dress modestly and do not touch the paintings. They can see them at close range. I like artists who can paint very well, I think local artists are no less good. This painting can also be purchased, if you are interested you can contact the person guarding the exhibition right in front of the entrance to this building.
This is why the city of Bandung looks interesting, because in Indonesia a place like this is rare. Indeed, the island of Java is the center of this country, anything can be easily obtained.
