I am very happy to be with you on another short trip.
Visiting one of the newly opened construction and infrastructure projects, named Abivord Dam.
During the time that this dam was being built, we had not heard any news. that after we were sightseeing on a spring day, we decided to change our route to the entrance of the dam.
After changing the route from one of the exits of the city to the outside of the city, we had to pass through the village of Komajkhor to reach the detour of the dam road. At first, we were shocked and experienced sharp peaks. We felt that we had come the wrong way.
After a few kilometers, the structures and machinery of the dam could be seen.
A dust storm occurred at the entrance of the dam with a strong wind, which prevented me from photographing the entrance of the concrete wall of the dam.
Sedabiord was put into operation on a trial basis a few years ago. This dam was opened in Razavi Khorasan and on the way of the mountains leading to the country of Turkmenistan and in the territory of Iran. The whole purpose of building this dam at first was to prevent the outflow of floods and to supply the region with drinking water and agricultural water and to prevent the water from going to the neighboring country.

It was an earthen dam and has the capacity of 31 million cubic meters of water.
Upon entering, we were warned that there are still engineering operations and construction around the dam and we should have a short visit to take some short photos.
That's why it was not possible to take pictures on the way.

In this part, it is the highest route that we could go by car.
We stopped and with the permission of one of the officials, we took some beautiful pictures with our friends.

If you zoom in, you can see various buildings that have been temporarily built in certain places and some structures.

A beautiful turret could be seen in the water. The sun had almost gone down and a beautiful light was shining on the mountains around the dam and it was shadowed in some angles.

I would like to take pictures as I go forward. Sunlight acted as a very beautiful light source and gave a beautiful effect to the area.

A little further on, they had built a long bar, which became an interesting place for our photographs. I am sharing two of my photos.

I would have liked to see the solar disk enclosed between the bars, which is how I was photographed 😄. And because these photos had a hundred light mode, it still had an acceptable effect.

When we got near the turret, there was a bridge that they had built to reach it. I really wanted to take pictures inside this bridge, but we were warned by the authorities and because the engineering of the area had not been completed yet, we were not allowed more than that.
When I looked down at the waters enclosed between the mountains, I liked to visit the beauty of the area for hours.

The waters enclosed between the mountains are usually far from the hustle and bustle of the cities. These places have a calm and quiet atmosphere that can be very suitable for relaxation and thinking.

The building and pavilion that was built in this place is a place for engineers and specialists to be used in the future.
Every dam, after it is built and put into operation, may have defects, which unfortunately, no budget was allocated to fix the defects. After filling the water between the mountains and containing it, they noticed its leakage, which was immediately ordered to evacuate, and now this dam project is in a state of stagnation. The water entering this dam originates from the Zanglanlu river, which I talked about in previous posts, and the entrance tunnel from Zanglanlu had a slight leak, and fortunately, due to the timely follow-up of the authorities, no damage was caused to the surrounding agricultural lands.
God willing, I will have more photos of this area in the next opportunities and with the operation of this dam as soon as possible.
In the heart of these beautiful mountains, according to the human equipment, many job positions can be created and along with many tourist attractions, it can become a tourist area.
The name of this dam was derived from one of the old names of the city, which later changed with the passage of time, but the name Abivard is still used for various structures and projects.
