After some back and forth in my mind, I settled on a compromise – a café by the sea. And not just any café, but "The Ruby Sea Cafe," a hidden spot near Phuket Airport, right next to Laem Sai Pier. Despite its proximity to the airport, it was surprisingly peaceful, far from the hustle and bustle of the usual tourist spots. That instantly put me at ease. It turned out to be another one of those spots I often visited, especially with my son.

Today recently revisited a charming café by the sea, I was delighted to find it transformed into a larger and more enchanting space. The expansion had breathed new life into the cozy establishment, allowing it to welcome more patrons eager to enjoy its services amidst the soothing seaside backdrop.

Adding to the allure of this seaside gem, the café's proximity to the airport turned out to be an unexpected and fascinating feature. As I sat there, taking in the serene atmosphere, I couldn't help but notice the occasional spectacle of planes gracefully taking off, soaring into the sky just beyond the café's view.

The strategic location near the airport bestowed upon this café a unique charm.
