When I was in Dubrovnik, Croatia, I sometimes felt like being in another time or on a very real movie set. The old buildings and big walls that surround the old town right at the sea bring a medival feeling. There is a good reason why the whole old town was added to the UNESCO list of world heritage sites.
The City was used many times as a movie set. The most famous series that was partly shot there was of course "Game of Thrones" . It was the shooting place of several scenes such as "Black Water Bay" and other locations in "Kings Landing".
If you are into outdoor activities, you have several choices in Dubrovnik, such as Kajaking, swimming in very clear mediterranean water or hiking to the top of the hill. It can be a bit exhausting, especially in the hot summer month but at the end you get a very rewarding view. Also you can catch very nice sunsets!
It is really worth to visit the city. There is so much history which you can discover with a walking tour for example or just on your own. I can recommend a tour though, where you can get a lot of information from the guides. Here are a few more pictures that I took

I can totally recommend it if you get the chance, another tip: dont go in Main season in summer, it's very crowded there. Better in spring or fall. Then you will have more space for pictures ;)
