The place is called Kasol and is located in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh is a state in India where there is a range of Mountains which is so scenic and magical. The best part about this place is not only it's scenic and majestic views but also the growth of wild marijuana plants.
As you can see, these wild plants are marijuana plants. Though you can't smoke the buds because of its wild naturally growth, the locals rub the THC off of the plant to make HASH. Hashish is the pure form of THC which is produced by the plant. It has a lot of medical uses and helps people fight anxiety and depression. When you go to Himachal, you can easily get access to hashish in any cafe. You don't have to worry about cops even though it's stated as illegal, the entire village uses hashish for it's medicinal properties. They believe that hash is the cure to almost all the deadly diseases like cancer and even covid 19. You can smoke all you want, even have it as edibles in brownies and fell the effects of THC in your body. Below is the image of hash and a joint.
Those tiny balls are hash. They are sold in the form of balls weighing up to 10-12g selling at a price of 30$ a piece. You can make close to 40 joints with a "tola". Tola is the term they use to describe the ball of hash weighing close to 10-12 grams. If you ever visit India, do visit Himachal Pradesh not only for the Hash but for it's majestic views and mountain ranges.
If you're a dog lover or a person who loves to hike, this is the place for you. Every year I make it a point to go to this place because of its vibe and the peace it provides. Its HEAVEN on EARTH.
The reason I say if you're a dog lover is because the local dogs accompany you to all the treks, they follow you and make sure you go in the right direction. Like literally, the dogs act as guides if you plan to hike a mountain. I'm not joking, they have literally showed us the way when we were completely lost in the jungle.
