Hello to all the friends of Hive, today I absolutely want to talk to you about a very important event for me, that just yesterday I visited with my brothers ( one of whom is very active on this platform @ilpaso ), and that finally after two years of stop cause pandemic, has reopened its doors for its XXX edition! I’m talking about the Bienno Exhibition Market, an event that is able to attract about 200,000 spectators. I had already made a post about this event, but I think this year, for its 30 years and for the great post covid return, the exhibition has fielded its best artists and events.
Ciao a tutti gli amici di Hive, oggi voglio assolutamente parlarvi di un evento per me molto importante, che giusto ieri ho visitato con i miei fratelli ( uno dei quali è molto attivo su questa piattaforma @ilpaso ), e che finalmente dopo due anni di stop causa pandemia, ha riaperto i battenti per la sua XXX edizione! Sto parlando della Mostra Mercato di Bienno, un evento che è in grado di attirare circa 200.000 spettatori. Avevo già fatto un post su questo evento, ma credo che quest anno, per i suoi 30 anni e per il grande ritorno post covid, la mostra abbia messo in campo i suoi migliori artisti ed eventi.
Some about the village
Bienno is a really small town has about 4000 inhabitants and is located in the middle Valle Camonica, in Lombardy. On its territory have passed numerous populations, from the most ancient of prehistoric origin, to the Roman populations, up to the medieval era, period in which the country takes the imprint that still today we can see; Biennium in fact as a medieval village is defined as one of the most beautiful in Italy, still rich in Arts and Crafts as it was in antiquity, and also thanks to this exhibition is able to put it even more in evidence.
Bienno è un comune veramente piccolo ha circa 4000 abitanti e si trova nella media Valle Camonica, in Lombardia. Sul suo territorio sono passate numerose popolazioni, dalle più antiche di origine preistorica, alle popolazioni romane, fino all’epoca medievale, periodo nel quale il paese prende l’impronta che ancora oggi riusciamo a vedere; Bienno infatti come borgo medievale è definito come uno dei più belli d’Italia, ancora ricco di Arti e Mestieri come lo era in antichità, e anche grazie a questa mostra è in grado di metterlo ancor più in evidenza.
As I said before the village is little inhabited but during the exhibition comes to life and is filled with colors, sounds, art, culture and food. It seems to go back in time seeing the artisans realize their wonderful works completely by hand, as once using only imagination and ingenuity.
Every corner of the village expresses something, each artist communicates through his work of art and spectators can enjoy it to the fullest.
Come ho detto precedentemente il borgo è poco abitato ma durante la mostra prende vita e si riempie di colori, suoni, arte, cultura e cibo. Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo vedendo gli artigiani realizzare le loro meravigliose opere completamente a mano, come una volta utilizzando unicamente fantasia e ingegno.
Ogni angolo del borgo esprime qualcosa, ogni artista comunica tramite la propria opera d’arte e gli spettatori ne possono fruire al massimo.
The exhibition generally takes place in the last week of August and lasts about 10 days. During the week it opens at five in the afternoon until midnight, while holidays is also open in the morning. I usually visited the exhibition from late afternoon until evening, because I think that with the sunset the atmosphere on the ancient village of Bienno is something really fascinating. This year, having brought my one-year-old daughter for the first time, I had to opt for the morning and early afternoon visit, as the fair at these times is much less chaotic. La mostra generalmente si tiene l’ultima settimana di Agosto e dura circa 10 giorni. Durante la settimana apre alle cinque di pomeriggio fino a mezzanotte, mentre i festivi è aperta anche la mattina. Solitamente visitavo la mostra dal tardo pomeriggio fino alla sera, perchè credo che col calar del sole l’atmosfera sull’antico borgo di Bienno sia qualcosa di veramente affascinante. Quest’anno, avendo portato per la prima volta mia figlia di un anno, ho dovuto optare per la visita la mattina e il primo pomeriggio, visto che la fiera in questi orari è molto meno caotica. In addition to artists, arts and crafts, the exhibition inside offers many small shows, yesterday for example we saw first of all a show of soap bubbles, in the square in front of the church of Santa Maria. A truly exciting show suitable for the whole family, later going up to the oratory, we instead attended the parade of colorful umbrellas by the Aleph theater.
When you are in the midst of these shows you can not do otherwise than stop and enjoy them.
Oltre che di artisti, arti e mestieri la mostra al suo interno propone numerosi piccoli spettacoli, ieri ad esempio abbiamo assistito in primis a uno spettacolo di bolle di sapone, nella piazzetta davanti la chiesa di Santa Maria. Uno spettacolo veramente emozionante adatto a tutta la famiglia, più tardi salendo verso l’oratorio, abbiamo invece assistito alla parata degli ombrelloni colorati a opera del teatro dell’Aleph.
Quando ci si trova in mezzo a questi spettacoli non si può fare altrimenti che fermarsi e goderseli.
Palazzo Simoni Fè
The palace is located in the center of the village of Bienno, surrounded by a large green space now full of games for children, in fact it was a gift from its last owner to the community and in particular to the kindergarten of Bienno. The building is nineteenth-century, its interior is rich in decorations on the ceiling, still you can see the antique furniture and in addition to this the palace houses the local art gallery that contains ancient works and emerging artists.
During the exhibition market the building is always open, so the visit is a must.
Il palazzo si trova nel centro del borgo di Bienno, circondato da un ampio spazio verde ora ricco di giochi per i bambini, infatti fu un dono della sua ultima proprietaria alla comunità e in particolare all’asilo di Bienno. L’edificio è ottocentesco, i suoi interni sono ricchi di decorazioni sul soffitto, ancora è possibile vedere l’arredamento antico e oltre a questo il palazzo ospita la pinacoteca locale che contiene opere antiche e di artisti emergenti.
Durante la mostra mercato il palazzo è sempre aperto, quindi la visita è d’obbligo.
I could say a lot more about this event because it really is one of those that I have in my heart, but the only thing I can do is recommend the visit. For those who are in the area or not too far away the exhibition is active again and until Sunday, August 28. On their website you can find the entire program and all the schedules.

Moltissimo ancora potrei dire di questo evento perchè veramente è uno di quelli che ho in assoluto più nel cuore, ma l’unica cosa che posso fare è consigliarvi la visita.
