By returning to our classic routine, we will be here every Monday until this tour is over. Today, as you can understand from the title and the cover photo, we are going to Anıtkabir.
Maybe you know my love for Atatürk. In fact, I don't understand those who are Turkish and don't like Atatürk. While this man is the reason why you are alive in general, such hatred is probably harmful to the brain 😂 After the full sense of nationalism that Duatepe gave me, walking the Aslanlı road with my head bowed and reaching here brought me a little to myself. This train of thought made me a little more attached to this man's existence, what he did, his teachings and ideals. If I could walk that road, live here, travel and even speak as a woman, it is thanks to this man. We know some countries and the cruelty they inflict on women...
Anıtkabir is very big. Of course, Atatürk's burial is not directly here, but his representative grave is here. It is not appropriate to wear a hat when entering here, which is very normal. Just as hats are taken off during the minute of silence and anthems, hats are also taken off here.
Unlike the Aslanlı road, inside Anıtkabir you feel like keeping your head up all the time. As Atatürk advised, our eyes are always on the heights. There is a quote from İsmet İnönü in the photo on the right. Mr İsmet İnönü starts his words as ‘Great Turkish Nation’. In 1934, before Atatürk passed away, he gave this surname to Mr İsmet with the Surname Law. Of course, this surname law is not only for Mr İsmet but for all citizens of the Republic of Türkiye.
You can see some carvings on the parts extending to the right and left and of course it takes some time to examine them. There are tens of thousands of people here, especially on a special day like November 10 (Atatürk's anniversary), and I'm talking about a crowd where you may even have difficulty even standing. Since these parts are crowded even on a normal day, I didn't take many photos of the big area.
At the same time, there are many memorabilia here, such as the vehicles used by Atatürk and some important people at the end of the Aslanlı road. It is forbidden to take photos of these at some points. In fact, if I remember correctly, it is forbidden almost everywhere, of course this information may have changed / may be wrong. I couldn't find any photos of these places in my gallery. Maybe I didn't take them, but unfortunately they are not on my phone or Google Photos.

Now there are so many things I would like to tell you about his life, but this is a blog from From All Over Türkiye, so I should tell you about my experiences in Anıtkabir rather than writing a blog about him. Imagine that being there makes me even more emotional. Sometimes it is not good to know some things, but I am glad that I know them. I know my own history first of all.
I would like to end my blog with Atatürk's last message to the Turkish Army. Anıtkabir was a very emotional stop for me, just like Duatepe, but while I was mourning Atatürk's physical death here, in Duatepe I was mourning for our martyrs who shed their blood in the War of Independence. Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Biz sizinle 1 aydır Türkiye'nin Dört Bir Yanından serimize devam edemedik. Özledim de bayağı uzun zaman oldu. Klasik rutinimize dönerek, her pazartesi burada olacağız bu turumuz bitene kadar. Bugün ise sizinle hem başlıktan hem de kapak fotoğrafından anlayacağınız üzere Anıtkabir'e gidiyoruz.
Benim Atatürk sevgimi belki bilirsiniz. Gerçeği Türk olup da Atatürk'ü sevmeyeni de anlamıyorum. Genel olarak yaşıyor olmanın sebebi bu adam iken bu kadar kin beyine zararlıdır büyük ihtimalle 😂 Duatepe'nin bana yaşattığı o dolu dolu milliyetçilik duygusundan sonra Aslanlı yolu kafam eğik bir şekilde yürüyüp buraya ulaşmak beni biraz kendime getirdi. Bu adamın varlığına, yaptıklarına, öğretilerine ve düşüncelerine biraz daha fazla bağlanmamı sağladı bu düşünce treni. O yolu yürüyebildiysem, burada yaşayabiliyor, gezebiliyor ve hatta rahatça konuşabiliyorsam bir kadın olarak bu adam sayesinde. Biliyoruz bazı ülkeleri de kadınlara ettikleri zulümleri de...
Anıtkabir çok büyük. Elbette Atatürk'ün cenazesi direkt burada bulunmuyor fakat temsili mezarı burada. Buraya girerken şapka takmak uygun değil ki bu çok normal. Nasıl saygı duruşu ve marşlarda şapka çıkarılıyorsa burada da şapka çıkarılıyor.
Aslanlı yolun aksine Anıtkabir'in içerisinde kafanızı sürekli yukarda tutasınız geliyor. Atatürk'ün de öğütlediği gibi, gözümüz hep yükseklerde. Sağ taraftaki fotoğrafta İsmet İnönü'den bir söz var. "Büyük Türk Milletine" diye başlıyor sözlerine İsmet Bey. 1934 yılında Atatürk vefat etmeden önce Soyadı Kanunu ile İsmet beye bu soyadını veriyor. Tabii bu soyadı kanunu sadece İsmet bey için değil bütün Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşı bireyler için.
Sağ ve sola doğru uzanan kısımlarda bazı kabartmalar görüyorsunuz ve elbette bunları incelemesi biraz zaman alıyor. Burada özellikle 10 Kasım gibi bir özel günde 10 binlerce insan oluyor hatta ayakta durmakta bile zorlanabileceğiniz bir kalabalıktan bahsediyorum. Bu kısımlar normal bir günde dahi kalabalık olduğu için büyük alanın fotoğraflarını çok çekmedim.
Aynı zamanda burada, Aslanlı yolun sonunda, Atatürk'ün ve bazı önemli kişilerin kullandığı araçlar gibi birçok hatıralar bulunuyor. Bunların fotoğrafını çekmek bazı noktalarda yasak. Hatta yanlış hatırlamıyorsam neredeyse her yerde yasak, tabii bu bilgi değişmiş/yanlış da olabilir. Ben kendi galerimde buralara ait fotoğraflar bulamadım. Belki ben çekmemiş olabilirim ama hem telefonumda hemde Google Fotoğraflar'da yok ne yazık ki.
Bu tabelada Atatürk'ün okuduğu kitaplar hakkında bilgi veriyor. Şimdi size onun hayatı ile ilgili anlatmak istediğim çok fazla şey var fakat bu yazı bir Türkiye'nin Dört Bir Yanından yazısı bu yüzden onun hakkında bir yazı yazmaktansa Anıtkabir'deki tecrübelerimi size aktarmalıyım.
