Hello everyone, I continue my Odunpazarı adventure from where I left off. When I look at the photos in my gallery, I really made very good trips in a short time. When people are willing, conditions are formed somehow. There are still places waiting to be shared. Our stopping points today will be Eskişehir Trade and Industry Museum and then Kurşunlu mosque and külliye.
Herkese merhaba, Odunpazarı macerasına kaldığım yerden devam ediyorum. Galerimdeki fotoğraflara baktığımda kısa zamanda gerçekten çok iyi geziler yapmışım. İnsan istekli olunca şartlar bir şekilde oluşuyor. Hâlâ paylaşılmayı bekleyen yerler var. Bugün ki uğrak noktalarımız Eskişehir Ticaret ve Sanayi Müzesi ardından Kurşunlu cami ve külliyesi olacak.
The Museum of Trade and Industry was not among my travel plans. I noticed it by chance while walking towards the Wood Arts Museum. When I entered, there was no one in charge, no visitors etc. Just as I was about to leave, a person who I thought was in charge called me and told me that I could visit the museum. There were very interesting artefacts in the museum, which covers a small area with two floors.
I knew that the Phrygians were a rich culture and had left important artefacts such as gold and art. I learnt in this museum that the ancestor of the safety pin was Fibula.
The ceramics were quite interesting. Considering the ceramic workshops and factories in and around Kütahya, it is possible to say that the Phrygians were taken as an example.
Ticaret ve Sanayi müzesi gezi planlarım arasında yoktu. Ahşap Sanatları müzesine doğru yürürken şans eseri fark ettim. İçeri girdiğimde görevli, ziyaretçi vs kimse yoktu. Tam çıkacakken görevli olduğunu düşündüğüm bir kimse bana seslenip içeriyi gezebileceğimi söyledi. İki katlı, küçük bir alanı kapsayan müzenin içerisinde oldukça ilgi çekici eserler bulunuyordu.
Friglerin zengin bir kültür olduğunu, altın, sanat gibi konularda günümüze önemli eserler bıraktığı biliyordum. Çengelli iğnenin atasının Fibula olduğunu bu müzede öğrendim.
Seramiklerde oldukça ilgi çekiciydiler. Kütahya ve çevresindeki seramik atölyeleri ve fabrikaları ele alındığında Firigler’in örnek alındığını söylemek mümkün.
Yazılıkaya Monument was also a work of the Firiges. When I first saw it, I thought it was made of wood, but when I got closer, I realised that it was shaped by carving on the stone. The Phrygians used to paint the shapes of the people they valued and loved or the things that symbolised them by shaping the stones. This work was dedicated to the Mother Goddess.
Yazılıkaya Anıtı da Firigler’e ait bir esermiş. İlk gördüğümde ağaçtan yapıldığını düşünmüştüm ancak yaklaştığımda taşın üzeri oyularak şekil verildiğini fark ettim. Firigler değer verdiği, sevdiği insanların şekillerini ya da onları simgeleyen şeyleri taşları şekillendirerek resmederlermiş. Bu eser Ana Tanrıçaya ithafen yapılmış.
In one part of the room, local products of Eskisehir were on display. In this section, the chicken soup called Arabasi caught my attention. This soup is owned by many regions. Until last year, I knew that it belonged to Konya region until it became a subject of discussion with a friend from Yozgat. 😄
I also saw here that Eskişehir has adopted it. :))
I think the most important thing is which region makes it more delicious. 🙂
There are Eskişehir bagel, halva and raw pastry right next to it.
I had eaten the raw pastry in the evening where I stayed, but I didn't like it very much.
Odanın bir bölümünde Eskişehir’in yöresel ürünleri sergileniyordu. Bu kısımda Arabaşı diye adlandırdığımız tavuk çorbası dikkatimi çekti. Bu çorbayı birçok yöre sahipleniyor. Ben geçen yıla kadar Konya yöresine ait diye biliyordum ta ki Yozgatlı bir arkadaşımla tartışma konusu oluncaya kadar. 😄
Burda da gördüm ki Eskişehir’de sahiplenmiş. :))
Bence asıl önemli olan hangi yörenin daha lezzetli yaptığı. 🙂
Hemen yanında Eskişehir simidi, helvası ve çiğ böreği bulunuyor.
Çiğ böreğini kaldığım yerde akşam yemiştim ancak çok fazla beğenmemiştim.
I have seen many of the items in this section at my grandparents' house and there are still people who continue to use them. Maybe they inherited it from their grandparents...
The precious stones in the other photo are mines from different districts of Eskişehir. Therefore, we can say that it is a province rich in mines.

Diğer fotoğraftaki değerli taşlar, Eskişehir’in farklı ilçelerinde çıkan madenler. Dolayısıyla maden açısından zengin bir il diyebiliriz.
The sewing machine you see in the photo is actually not very old. In my childhood years, it was possible to see it in almost everyone's home and it is still in use.
I saw the artefact in the other photograph for the first time. As far as I read from the description, it was used in the field of press and newspapers.
Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz dikiş makinesi aslında çok da eski değil. Çocukluk yıllarımda hemen hemen herkesin evinde görmek mümkündü ve hâlâ da kullanılmaya devam ediyor.
Diğer fotoğraftaki eseri ilk defa görmüştüm. Açıklamadan okuduğum kadarıyla basın ve gazete alanında kullanılmış.
Communication tools used in the past years were exhibited in a different room. If I remember correctly, my grandparents had the phone on the top left and I loved to play 😅
In the same room, there were paper and coins from the Ottoman and Republican periods. It seems like the money of those periods is cooler, isn't it. ?
Geçmiş yıllarda kullanılan iletişim araçları farklı bir odada sergilenmiş. Yanlış hatırlamıyorsam sol üstteki telefondan dedemlerde vardı ve ben oynamayı çok severdim. 😅
Yine aynı odada Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemine ait kağıt ve madeni paralar bulunuyordu. Sanki o dönemlerin parası daha havalı değil mi. ?
I know Nasrettin Hodja is not from Eskisehir, but his famous donkey riding is exhibited as a sculpture. Next to him, local clothes belonging to Eskişehir region are exhibited. Right opposite is a small carpet and rug weaving mechanism. When I was in primary school, we used to make simple carpets and rugs like this, and it was very enjoyable.
Nasrettin hoca Eskişehirli değil diye biliyorum ancak onun meşhur eşeğe binmesi heykel olarak sergilenmiş. Onun yanında ise Eskişehir yöresine ait yöresel kıyafetler sergileniyor. Hemen karşısında ise küçük bir halı, kilim dokuma mekanizması bulunuyor. İlkokuldayken buna benzer basit halı, kilim yapardık. Çok da zevkli olurdu.
While leaving the museum, the first locomotive train in a large room and Turkey's first domestic car was located in the revolution. There were many different artefacts inside the museum. All of them were very beautiful. I learnt a lot of new information. Now I would like to talk about the Kurşunlu Mosque.
Müzeden çıkarken geniş bir odada bulunan ilk lokomotif tren ve Türkiye’nin ilk yerli otomobili olan devrim yer alıyordu. Müzenin içesinde birbirinden farklı birçok eser vardı. Hepsi de çok güzeldi. Birçok yeni bilgi öğrendim. Şimdi kurşunlu caminden bahsetmek istiyorum.
At the entrance of the mosque there are free headscarves for open women. This practice is available in many mosques in Turkey. The entrance door of the mosque has preserved its naturalness for years. The first thing I pay attention to when visiting mosques is their doors. The courtyard of the mosque is also quite large and has a beautiful fountain.
Caminin hemen girişinde açık bayanlar için ücretsiz başörtüleri bulunuyor. Bu uygulama Türkiye’deki birçok camide mevcut. Caminin giriş kapısı yıllardır doğallığını korumuş. Camileri ziyaret ederken ilk dikkat ettiğim şey kapılarıdır. Caminin avlusu da oldukça geniş ve güzel bir şadırvan bulunuyor.
You get lost in the depths of history while walking around the interior of the mosque. Although many years have passed since its construction, it has still managed to preserve its originality.
The wooden windows in the interior are almost the size of a door. As in every mosque, the upper part is reserved for women. The mosque and the complex are spread over a large area, but the interior was a bit small.
Caminin iç kısmında gezerken tarihin derinliklerinde kayboluyorsunuz. Yapılışının üzerinden yıllar geçmiş olmasına rağmen hâlâ orijinalliğini korumayı başarmış.
İç kısımdaki ahşap pencereler neredeyse kapı büyüklüğünde. Her camide olduğu gibi üst kısmı bayanlar için ayrılmış. Cami ve külliye geniş bir alana yayılmış ancak ibadet edilen iç kısım sanki biraz küçüktü.
A large part of the complex was built as a guest house in the first years. In later periods it was used as a library. There were many works written in different languages inside. I examined a few works.
I spent about half an hour in the mosque and the complex. The spiritual atmosphere was quite high.

Külliyenin büyük bir bölümü ilk yapıldığı yıllarda misafirhane olarak yapılmış. Sonraki dönemlerde kütüphane olarak kullanılmış. İçerde farklı dillerde kaleme alınmış birçok eser vardı. Birkaç eseri inceledim.
Cami ve külliyede yaklaşık yarım saat geçirdim. Manevi atmosferi oldukça yüksekti.

The carving of the stone was stunning. The artifact highlights the growth of local industries. Oh! The Mosque was beautiful, and the architectural design offered a tranquil space for reflection.
