Today I will talk about the Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM) museum in Odunpazar.Hello, everyone. I hope you are in good spirits. First of all, I celebrate the women's day of all women in the Hive family, especially my dear wife @bilginsemra. I am glad you are all there.

Bugün Odunpazarında bulunan Odunpazarı Modern Müze (OMM) müzesinden bahsedeceğim.Herkese merhaba. Umarım keyifler yerindedir. Öncelikle başta canım eşim @bilginsemra olmak üzere Hive ailesindeki bütün kadınların, kadınlar gününü kutluyorum. Hepiniz iyi ki varsınız.
After getting off the tram, I walked for about 7-8 minutes and reached the museum. I paid 80 Turkish liras as an entrance fee. It was quite affordable. A big stone is exhibited right next to the entrance. I didn't pay much attention to it, so I went directly inside. The staff inside were very interested in the visitors. They told me that they could take the bag on my back for a comfortable trip.
Tramvaydan indikten sonra yaklaşık 7-8 dakika kadar yürüdükten sonra müzeye ulaştım. Giriş ücreti olarak 80 Türk lirası vermiştim. Oldukça uygun. Girişin hemen yanında büyük bir taş sergileniyor. Çok fazla dikkatimi çekmediği için direkt içeriye girdim. İçerdeki görevliler ziyaretçilere karşı oldukça ilgiliydiler. Rahat bir gezi yapmam için sırtımdaki çantayı emanet olarak alabileceklerini söylediler.
Approximately 85% of the interior and exterior of the museum is made of wood. Perhaps such a decision may have been taken based on the name of the neighbourhood. As the name suggests, there are many artefacts in the context of modern art. The words of famous philosophers are written next to some of the works. Although there is not much connection with the works, the words shed a lot of light on the present day.
Müzenin iç ve dış kısmının yaklaşık %85’lik bir bölümü ahşaptan yapılmış. Belki de semtin isminden hareketle böyle bir karar alınmış olabilir. İsminden de anlaşılacağı üzere modern sanat anlayışı bağlamında birçok eser mevcut. Bazı eserlerin yanında ise ünlü filozofların sözleri yazılmış. Eserlerle çok fazla bağlantı kurulmasa da söylenen sözler günümüze çok fazla ışık tutuyor.
Animals, harmful or harmless, are in our lives from past to present. The artist tried to produce a modern work based on the scorpion. I don't know if there is mass production, but I am sure that if it is put into production, it will have many suitors. I'll probably buy it too. After sharing the post, I will do research on the internet. 😄
Hayvanlar zararlı ya da zararsız geçmişten günümüze hayatımızın içindeler. Sanatçı Akrepten yola çıkarak modern anlamda bir eser üretmeye çalışmış. Seri üretimi var mı bilmiyorum ama eminim ki üretime konulsa çok talibi olur. Muhtemelen ben de alırım. Postu paylaştıktan sonra internette araştırma yapacağım. 😄
There were times when I worked in the carpentry workshop from time to time before. We made doors, chairs, etc. but I saw such artefacts for the first time. There are warning signs on the edges of the seats and chairs, but I think some people do not pay attention to the warnings or do not see them. Although there was a warning not to sit on the chairs, there were people who sat on them and had their photos taken. I showed them the warning sign but they looked at me with strange eyes. I didn't care so that there wouldn't be any arguments and I continued to visit the exhibition. 😅
Daha önce marangoz atölyesinde ara ara çalıştığım zamanlar oldu. Kapı, sandalye vs yaptık ama ilk defa böyle eserler gördüm. Koltukların, sandalyelerin kenarlarında uyarı levhaları yer alıyor ancak bazı insanlar sanırım uyarıları dikkate almıyor ya da görmüyor. Sandalyelere oturmayın uyarısı olmasına rağmen üzerine oturup fotoğraf çektiren insanlar vardı. Kendilerine uyarı levhasını gösterdim ancak bana tuhaf gözlerle baktılar. Tartışma çıkmasın diye umursamadım ve sergiyi geziye devam ettim. 😅
These chairs attracted my attention the most. The chairs are made in the shape of people and the one on the left gives the feeling of embracing the person sitting on it. The one on the right looks a bit more like dancing. Both of them are inspired by human behaviours.
The artefacts in the second photograph are also based on human characteristics and shapes. They resemble stools. However, they are not as friendly as the ones above. :)) They look more like introverts.
İçerdeki dikkatimi en çok çeken bu sandalyeler oldu. Sandalyeler insan şeklinde yapılmış ve soldaki sanki üzerine oturanı kucaklıyor hissi veriyor. Sağdaki biraz daha dans eder gibi görünüyor. İkisi de insana özgü davranışlardan esinlenerek yapılmış.
İkinci fotoğraftaki eserlerde yine insan özellikleri ve şekilleri baz alınarak yapılmış. Tabureyi andırıyorlar. Ancak yukardakiler gibi sıcakkanlı oldukları söylenemez. :)) Daha çok içe kapanık gibi duruyorlar.
There are also different ornaments in the museum. Although they are called modern, it is very clear that they were made by taking examples from the past.
When I first saw the artefact in the other photo, I thought of Sumac Plant. The colour is very similar. I don't know the types of stones on the tray, I couldn't find any explanation.
Müzenin içerisinde farklı süs eşyaları da mevcut. Her ne kadar modern diye adlandırılsalarda geçmişten örnek alınarak yapıldıkları çok açık.
Diğer fotoğraftaki eseri ilk gördüğümde aklıma Sumak Bitkisi geldi. Rengi çok benziyor. Tepsinin üzerinde bulunan taşların türlerini bilmiyorum, herhangi bir açıklama da bulamadım.

Lastly, I would like to talk about Tanabe's work from the Omm Museum. When I searched on the internet before visiting this place, this work appeared as the cover picture. It is made of bamboo wood. Although it looks quite complicated, I think it symbolises eternity.
