I hope you're in a good mood and doing well. I'm very well and in a good mood. The weather has started to warm up and our mood has become a little more fulfilled. Today I will talk to you about the energy museum I have been to before.

Umarım keyfiniz yerindedir ve iyisinizdir. Ben çok iyiyim ve keyfim yerinde. Havalar ısınmaya başladı ve modumuz biraz daha yerine geldi. Bugün sizlerle daha önce gittiğim enerji müzesinden bahsedeceğim.
The energy museum is located inside Istanbul Bilge University. Since the museum was far away, we reached the university where the museum was located after an hour and a half. For those other than university students, the entrances were through a single door. We came from the wrong door. The security told us that the other gate was too far away and helped us this time. We found even this entrance very difficult, it would be difficult to walk to the other door. It was very good for us to enter through this door.
Enerji müzesi, İstanbul Bilge üniversitesinin içinde bulunuyor. Müze uzak olduğu için bir buçuk saat sonra müzenin olduğu üniversiteye ulaştık. Üniversite öğrenci dışındaki gelenler için girişler tek kapıdan oluyormuş. Biz ise yanlış kapıdan gelmiştik. Güvenlik diğer kapının çok uzak kaldığını söyledi ve bu seferlik bize yardımcı oldu. Bu girişi bile çok zor bulmuştuk diğer kapıya yürümek zor olacaktı. Bizim için bu kapıdan girmek çok iyi oldu.
Since the campus was big, we found the museum by asking university students. There were bookcases and a cafe on the ground floor. There were huge machines. I didn't understand what it was at first. No one was there. There was no sound upstairs except for a few voices. It was quiet and calm. We went upstairs. There was no one to get information from.
Kampüs büyük olduğu için üniversite öğrencilerine sorarak müzeyi bulduk. Giriş katta kitaplıklar ve kafe vardı. Kocaman kocaman makineler vardı. Ne olduğunu anlamadım önce. Kimse yoktu. Üst kattan Bir kaç ses dışında ses çıkmıyordu. Sessiz ve sakindi. Üst kata çıktık. Bilgi alabileceğimiz kimse yoktu.
Some students were visiting the museum. We informed them about the museum. The museum was founded by a faculty member of the university. He brought together the energy machines and tools used by the Ottomans and created this museum. He did not want them to be lost over the years.
Birkaç öğrenci müzeyi ziyaret ediyordu. Onlara müze hakkında bilgi aldık. Müze, üniversitenin bir öğretim üyesi tarafından kurulmuş. Osmanlı'nın kullandığı enerji makine ve aletlerini biraraya getirerek bu müzeyi oluşturmuş. Yıllar geçtikçe kaybolsun istememiş.
Huge machines were placed in the centre of the museum. There were documents of the competitions held in China. I couldn't understand why there were these documents inside the museum. There is a big room upstairs. There were ship engines used in ships, instruments showing direction to ships. I was very confused when I examined them. I never understood how these connections were made. I wanted to examine the back part of the engine. There were a lot of cables and the back part was more complicated.
Devasa makineler müzenin ortasına yerleştirilmiş. Çin'de yapılan yarışmalara ait belgeler vardı. Müzenin içinde bu bu belgelerin olmasına anlam veremedim. Üst katta büyük bir oda var. Burada gemilerde kullanılan gemi motorları, gemilere yön gösteren aletler vardı. İnceleyince kafam çok karıştı. Bu bağlantılar nasıl kurulduğunu hiç anlamadım. Makinerin arka kısmını incelemek istedim. Bir sürü kablolar var ve arka kısım daha çok karışıktı.
We went down the stairs opposite to the place we came from upstairs. The stairs were made of old iron in harmony with the place. After descending from here, we went down to the machines. We were like ants next to the big machines. We examined these machines more closely. They were really skilfully made tools. I would like to listen how these machines were made from the mouths of those who made them.
Yukarıdan çıktığımız yerin karşısından merdivenlerden aşağıya indik. Merdivenlerde mekanla uyumlu eski demirden yapılmış merdivenlerdi. Buradan indikten sonra makinelerin yanına indik. Büyük makinelerin yanında karınca gibi kalıyorduk. Bu makineleri daha yakından inceledik. Gerçekten ustaca yapılmış aletlerdi. Bu makineleri yapanların ağzından nasıl yapıldığını dinlemek isterdim.
When we went down to the bottom floor, the tools were positioned for us to experiment. It was written next to how we would try the tools. Firstly, we tried the jumping ring. We were told to get up to the level of the ring and put our hands on the ring. My husband climbed up the ladder but did not reach her hand. We were afraid of doing something wrong. When I pressed the button, the ring jumped up. And we got scared. We didn't expect this 🙂
*En alt kata indiğimizde deney yapmamız için aletler konumlandırılmıştı. Aletlerin nasıl deneyeceğimiz yanında yazıyordu. Bu aletlerin bir kaçını denedik. İlk olarak zıplayan halkayı denedik. Halkanın seviyesine çıkıp ellerimizi halkanın üzerine koymamız söyleniyordu. Eşim merdivene çıktı ama elini uzatmadı. Yanlış bişey yapmaktan çekindik. Düğmeye bastığımda halka yukarıya zıpladı. Ve korktuk. Bunu beklemiyorduk.🙂
One device measures the ambient temperature. Another device is called the infinity machine. It said to look into it through the part with the circle. When we looked, there was no end. There was a void that went on and on. There were a few more instruments like this. We tried and learnt and had a lot of fun. The most enjoyable part of the museum was these experiments.
Bir alet ortamın sıcaklığını ölçüyor. Başka bir aletin ismi sonsuzluk makinesi. Daire olan kısımdan içine bakılması gerektiği yazıyordu. Baktığımızda sonu görülmüyor. Uzayıp giden bir boşluk vardı. Bunun gibi bir kaç alet daha vardı. Deneyip öğrendik ve çok eğlendik. Müzedeki en keyifli kısım bu yaptığımız deneylerdi.
We left the museum and walked around the campus. It had a big and green area. A visual feast was created inside the campus. There were visuals in places. We left after walking a little bit from here. It was a trip we learnt and had fun.

Müzeden çıktık kampüste yürüdük. Büyük ve yeşil bir alana sahipti. Kampüs içi görsel şölen oluşturulmuş. Yer yer görseller vardı. Buradan biraz yürüdükten sonra çıktık. Öğrendiğimiz ve eğlendiğimiz bir gezi oldu.

Seeing those huge machines it becomes difficult to imagine that the place was calm and silent, hehe. The museum is impressive, everything is very well preserved, it seems that it can be started right now. I love seeing those consoles full of buttons and dials with needles. It is also interesting that they have a part of experiments, younger visitors will have fun while learning, surely it is a place that they will not forget. I loved this visit, thank you for sharing it.

If the machines were working, I think the noise would make it impossible to stay inside. Yes, it is very difficult to imagine large machines silent. I had a hard time getting used to it at first 🙂
