After 4 years I have returned to my earthly paradise! ... After a long trip to the south and all the trouble due to the pandemic, last Friday I was able to take the road and reach Caripe. It was just and necessary a moment of contact with nature, to breathe fresh air ... after 7 months of confinement, this walk recharged my soul!
As they say out there: "you always return to the places where you have been happy"

I missed this place a lot, as soon as you arrive you feel so much peace, so much tranquility ... it was definitely a reconnection! After all this time of stress and anguish due to covid-19, it was liberating to be able to get here .. I feel renewed and with a light soul!
One of the things I like the most about being in our little house in the mountains is the sunset ... there is not a day that does not surprise. When we arrived it was raining so I thought the day would go away without much emotion at sunset, but I was wrong ... when the sun was almost completely setting, it gave us a flash of colors !! Here the sun does not like to leave and go unnoticed.
In the same way, sunrise is magical, waking up, looking out the window and looking at how the fog still covers the town is something that has always fascinated me. It is difficult not to fall into a meditative state. The landscape abstracts you and leaves you enchanted ...
How nice it was to come back! Feel the cold of the mountain, the song of the birds, breathe fresh air, illuminate the view with a dazzling landscape ... it is priceless!
I hope I can come back soon and stay more days ... it feels so good to be there!
The town of Caripe is not yet active for tourism due to the Pandemic ... its attractions are not open to the public, but walking through its streets, for now, is more than enough ... Let's hope everything passes and Caripe can receive to its tourists with the joy and kindness that characterizes it.
It was a short trip, but very rewarding. How much I needed to get out of the city ... I lived and appreciated this walk like never before!
If these times of confinement have taught us anything, it is to value freedom, and to be grateful for everything wonderful that happens in our days !! ...
