There are countless things in the world that I don't have, I don't have access to, and yet that means nothing to me. But there is something I would like to have, I realize that I would like to live by the sea. In fact, I think I would have wanted to spend my childhood by the sea even more.
On the other hand, what we do not have becomes much more desirable, we hyperbolize desire. Probably if I had lived by the sea I would have been less interested in it. I say this because I know many people who live by the sea and they don't find anything special about it.
I lie to myself (or not) that it is better as it is and that the lack of the sea increases the desire for the sea and this makes the summer more beautiful when I manage to see the sea. That is almost every year.
I like the sea because it gives me the opportunity to look far, to the horizon. At sea, there are no mountains, hills, or high blocks. Everything is flat, an open space that lets you look very far. I like. That's why I don't have to go to tropical seas, I really wouldn't afford to pay such high travel costs. What I like I can find at the nearby sea and the nearest sea is the Black Sea.
The Black Sea may seem like an exotic sea, because of its name, to those who live far from Eastern Europe. The name of the sea may lead to the belief that seawater is black but it is not. It is said that during storms the water looks black, I have not seen that. In general, the color of the water is given by the color of the sky and goes from blue to green and gray. This is also because the water is not very salty, the sea is relatively small, a few tens of thousands of years ago it was just a lake and it turned into a sea with the formation of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles straits, which connected the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.
Like any sea that respects itself, the Black Sea is surrounded by several countries. Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Georgia. The Black Sea is positioned between Europe and Asia. It is the closest sea to me and because of this, I have been on vacations and trips there many times. In Romania and in Bulgaria. I live in Romania but I must admit that in Bulgaria the sea is more beautiful. That is why I have spent all my holidays in Bulgaria for the last twenty years. The most visited place was Balchik and now all these photos are taken in Balchik.
I like Balchik because this small town has a common Romanian-Bulgarian history, here is the castle of Queen Maria of Romania, her residence by the sea. If this place was loved by a queen, how can I not love it too? It was the favorite city of Romanian painters in the first half of the last century. In fact, a painter friend recommended me to come here.
If in the first part of life the pleasure of the sea was given by the beach and long baths in the sea now things have changed. Walking has become the main activity. The walk and the joy of seeing the sea, of smelling the sea, to admire the birds...
I like to watch people the most. We are so different from each other and it is interesting to see how people behave during the holidays, how they spend their time and what their relationship is with the sea. My pleasure...
Even if I look for people, for birds, for houses, and for vegetation, in every look I have the sea. I wanted the sea to be the main character. We often go to the sea but we forget the sea, attracted by the fun. I want and I think I manage to never forget that the sea is the main reason for my presence there.
In any story about the sea and the holiday I put everything, an amalgam as a vacation is usually, that is, the beach and the sea and walk and food and nightlife. Now I want to dedicate this post only to the sea, it is the first blog in which the sea appears in all images.
I always wanted to see a sea of silver, as I wanted and I saw a phosphorescent sea.
Finally, I had a sea of silver. I also helped a little with the editing, but I hope this doesn't upset anyone.
