From time to time, we need to stop and relax for a while from the stresses of daily life. It is how we keep balance. Life is short, we should enjoy it.
Together with my colleagues we spent a day out to enjoy and relax after a huge event. We spent it in a resort. Resorts are the easiest place to go to if you want to relax and enjoy specially when you are with a family or a big group. It is convenient and safer for all ages. There are many resorts to choose from but we need to consider the following factors so that everyone can come since we are a big group. We need to consider the location, amenities, transportation and budget.
We decided to spend the day in Baybayon ni Agalon Resort in Albuera, Leyte. It is the best choice considering the factors we noted. It is about one and a half hour travel from our place and it is located along the high way. It has a wide area with different cottages to choose from, a pool, and a seaside view.

The resort has a cool and relaxing ambiance. There are many plants and trees around. Moreover, the sea breeze gives you that tropical beach summer vibe.
When we arrived, we were directed to a tree house cottage since reservation had been made a day before. It is the biggest tree house cottage and maybe the most expensive. It's rental costs around 40$.

We arrived early, at around 9:00 am. Before we had our food ready and before we start with the activities that we prepared to make our stay more enjoyable such as fun games, together with my closest friends, we decided to have a walk around the resort.
The other cottages in the resort are also eye catching with its unique designs.
The resort has two swimming pools for adults and one kiddie pool. It has a gazeebo at the center and a heart-pumping three-floor high slides. I tried the slides specially the blue one and it was crazy fun! ๐
Aside from the swimming pool, children can also enjoy the children's playground where they can swing, slide and run around the area.
As we strolled around the resort, we encountered different animals like birds and lizards roaming freely in the resort while some are in captivity specially the dangerous and wild ones.

If you want to stay overnight at the resort there are many rooms to choose from with a price starting from around 50$ per night and above. Here are some photos of their hotel rooms from the outside.
If you love photography or if you ar a selfie junkie, then you will really enjoy this place. Anywhere you go there are beautiful spots that are click worthy of you cameras and can boost your beautiful selfie photos.
I couldn't help but take photos of the many beautiful spots here, so here are some of my favorite shots.
After walking around the resort we started the fun games and we ate our brunch. We really had fun. It was all laughters and cheers.

Php 200 (4$) - food and cottage rental. Since we are a group of more or less 40 people so we just chipped in. We brought our own food as a group.

This has been a much needed relaxation after a hard days work and a great starter for another stressful days to come. We feel like we are the master here and not the slaves of our work. In connection to that "Baybayon ni Agalon" if I am to translate it it would mean "The Master's Shore". I'm not sure if i translated it right. But that's the literal translation. It's amazing how they were able to build those cottages without cutting down the trees โค. Nakakadagdag sa ganda ng ambiance ng place yung pag blend in ng resort sa nature.

Good to know that you enjoyed the resort as you should for everything you presented here look good and relaxing and fun. The birds after the peacock photo we call it binggala and I remember chasing those when we were younger. They are swift and change direction easily lol! I just can't catch up.
