Ohhh interesting! Madeira is on my list to also visit one day 😊
As for Lisbon, I can't wait to go back. This time with my daughter as she told me I'm not allowed to travel anywhere without her anymore 😅

Wrote this last year about the time we visited Reid’s Hotel for afternoon tea.

We’ve been to the island twice. Will go again. Go for the Flower Festival that’s well worth going to.

Oh wow! It's beautiful - thank you for sharing. I'm absolutely adding it to my list! Might have to be next Flower Festival though as I'm still recovering from the airport madness for this little vaca 😅

We missed the main event though, it took place the day before we arrived but there were plenty of exhibits to enjoy nonetheless. Flower carpets everywhere and musical/theatrical performances.

Flower carpets sounds like a dream! It's just another reason for you to go back again 😊 We also saw preparations for Dia Da Liberdade but left a day earlier so we couldn't see the actual celebrations. Which only makes me wanna book my next flight already.

So many great fiestas in Pirtugal
