Yes, it was good for us. We already have plans for this weekend as well. I think our best bet is just keeping busy until the grief has subsided a bit and we can more comfortably be alone with our thoughts!

That's the approach I typically take when I lose someone close to me. I can still reflect here and there, but I'm distracted enough it doesn't consume all of my thoughts.
