Wow, that is pretty impressive. I am assuming they don't allow you to take photos of the tapestry. I'm always a bit amazed at how large these buildings are, but how relatively little space they have on the inside for seating. I feel like there aren't that many chairs in there compared to some churches I have been in.

Thats correct - the tapestry is kept in this especially dark room and photos are not allowed to protect it from light damage. Its quite impressive to see.
I have to say that the Bayeux cathedral is not that wide, so it does appear that there is not so much seating, although it is quite long. A lovely place, but then when you compare to the likes of Arras or Le Mans cathedrals which were just huge full stop - and had tons of seating.
