El campamento está rodeado de montañas y existe un sendero que inicia en una zona del campamento que permite subir hacia las montañas.
The camp is surrounded by mountains and there is a trail that starts in an area of the camp that allows you to ascend towards the mountains.
Ya caída la tarde, mientras estaba compartiendo con la familia, se me ocurrió recorrer el sendero y empecé a subir.
In the late afternoon, while I was sharing with the families, it occurred to me to walk the trail and I started to ascend.
En las fotografías que muestro, la mayoría las capturé para apreciar la subida y en pocas ocasiones las capturé hacia abajo para apreciar el paisaje desde lo alto de las montaña.
In the photographs that I show, most of them were taken to appreciate the ascent and in a few occasions I took them downwards to appreciate the landscape from the top of the mountain.
Subiendo el sendero, hacia la derecha se encuentra otro que conduce a un sitio que se asume es un mirador.
Ascending the trail, to the right is another trail that leads to a place that is assumed to be a viewpoint.
Desde allí capturé fotografías de izquierda a derecha, que muestro a continuación, para apreciar lo que se ve desde allí, y luego retomé el sendero para seguir subiendo.
From there I took photographs from left to right, which I show below, to appreciate what can be seen from there, and then resumed the trail to continue ascending.
Hay poca vegetación y la mayoría se ve seca por causa de la época de sequía. El sendero se caracteriza por ser rocoso y además estar cubierto de una mezcla de tierra polvorienta y piedras pequeñas que cuando se pisa es fácil resbalarse.
There is little vegetation and most of it is dry due to the dry season. The trail is rocky and covered with a mixture of dusty soil and small stones that are easy to slip on when stepping on.
Seguí subiendo, me detuve y capturé otras fotos de izquierda a derecha. A lo lejos se podía ver una cruz en la cima de la montaña.
I continued ascending, stopped and captured other photos from left to right. In the distance a cross could be seen on the top of the mountain.
Continué el ascenso y llegué hasta donde se encontraba un árbol con un nido de termitas, allí capturé fotografías del paisaje, de izquierda a derecha. La cruz se veía distante.
I continued the ascent and reached a tree with a termite nest, where I took photographs of the landscape, from left to right. The cross could be seen in the distance.
Al capturar las últimas fotografías que mostré, aunque se me ocurrió seguir subiendo para llegar hasta la cruz, no lo hice porque era muy tarde. El recorrido por el sendero lo inicié a las 5:15 p. m. y llegué al árbol con el nido de termitas a las 6:05 p. m. En total, subí durante 50 minutos.
When capturing the last photographs I showed, although it occurred to me to continue ascending to reach the cross, I did not do so because it was too late. I started up the trail at 5:15 p.m. and arrived at the tree with the termite nest at 6:05 p.m. In total, I ascended for 50 minutes.

A esa hora no debí subir tan alto en la montaña porque el tiempo en regresar bajando es mayor. En tal sentido, bajando, llegó la noche. La siguiente foto corresponde a cuando ya llevaba 60 minutos bajando de la montaña y además ya me había caído tres veces hacia atrás. Aunque la subida la hice el sábado 16 de abril, un día en que había luna llena, el reflejo de la luz solar en la luna no me favoreció en la bajada porque el cielo estaba nublado.
At that hour I should not have ascended so high on the mountain because the time to come back down is longer. In that sense, descending, the night came. Me quedé unos minutos acostado en el suelo, me levanté y seguí bajando.
The shoes I used are designed for running, they are not suitable for ascending mountains, let alone on rocky ground with additionally mixed dusty soil and small stones. On the fourth and final fall, I fell forward because there was a steep incline and rolled over after hitting my head on a rock. I lay on the ground for a few minutes, got up and continued down.
Al continuar bajando, ya no andaba por ningún sendero, por la oscuridad perdí la ruta, solo sabía que tenía que bajar y hacerlo hacia las luces de las casas.
As I continued down, I was no longer walking on any trail, because of the darkness I lost the route, I only knew that I had to go down and do it towards the lights of the houses.
Finalmente llegué a una casa con un terreno sembrado de plantas, salté sobre tres cercas y encontré una calle que finalizaba en la carretera. En la calle pregunté en dos ocasiones a dos personas distintas sobre la ubicación del campamento y me dijeron hacia la derecha cuando llegues a la carretera.
Finally I arrived at a house with a plot of land planted with plants, I jumped over three fences and found a street that ended at the road. On the street I asked two different people twice about the location of the camp and they told me to the right when you get to the road.
En la carretera caminé como un kilómetro hasta la entrada del campamento. Me anuncié con el vigilante y por radio le informó al propietario del campamento que yo había llegado y el propietario le dijo al vigilante que esperara que el me iba a buscar. El asunto fue, que en el campamento estaban en estado de alarma porque había desaparecido. En varias ocasiones, varios grupos, habían subido a buscarme, jejeje. Escribir esta parte me causó risa porque ni me lo imaginaba.
On the road I walked about a kilometer to the entrance of the camp. I announced myself to the caretaker and over the radio he informed the camp owner that I had arrived and the owner told the caretaker to wait he was going to pick me up. The thing was, the camp was in a state of alarm because I had disappeared. On several occasions, several groups had come up to look for me, hehehe. Writing this part made me laugh because I could not even imagine it.

Caramba!! La curiosidad mató al gato dicen por ahí jajaja. Gracias a Dios no fue un peor accidente. Esas recomendaciones son necesarias, no debemos explorar zonas que no conocemos, necesitamos guías para ello. Valencia es tierra caliente, si ahora mismo Caracas está en tiempo de sequía, no imagino eso por allá.
A pesar del incidente, valió la pena la huída jaja ja, hermosa vista se aprecia a través de las imágenes. Visitaré a tu hija para ver más fotografías! Saludos y a sanar esas heridas.

El contraste entre zonas secas y verdosas me parece interesante. Pocas veces he hecho senderismo pero sé que es una actividad que exige bastante resistencia. Saludos y bendiciones!

Hola, por 24 horas de estadía cobran 20 dólares por persona, pero el precio es variable por si es temporada o no. Puedes escribirles por privado en sus redes sociales solicitando cualquier tipo de información. Te dejo una imagen donde aparecen sus redes y teléfonos y correo también.
El pago incluye el uso de todas las instalaciones y atracciones, hay parrilleras y la cocina del restaurante la prestan si la solicitan. También incluye la estadía para dormir en una habitación con varias camas.
