Como se encuentra mi querida comunidad de Hive? hoy quiero contarles un poco mas sobre mi paseo en Santiago de Chile, caminando por las calles, admirando sus esquinas, sus sombras, sus personas y entre tanto su bonita arquitectura y la gran cantidad de lugares con interes cultural e historico que tiene para conocer por sus esquinas.
This is the case of the Pereira Palace located in Santiago de Chile, on the entire corner of Huerfanos and San Martín streets, I was walking along one of those two streets and arrived at the corner, the beauty of the construction from the outside was impressive, it seemed to me that That neoclassical concept did not fit with the rest of the suburban buildings, so I decided to go closer and ask the people of the place, what use this building had, for a moment I thought it was a mansion, but it turns out that it is a Historical Monument of the city since in 1981 and is open to the public free of charge.
Este es el caso del Palacio Pereira ubicado en Santiago de Chile, en toda la esquina de las calles huerfanos y san martin, paseaba por una de esas dos calles y llego a la esquina, impresiona la belleza de la construccion desde afuera, me parecia que no encajaba ese concepto neoclasico con el resto de edificios suburbanos, asi que decidi acercarme y preguntarle a las personas del lugar, que uso tenia esta edificacion, por un momento pense que era una mansion, pero resulta que es un Monumento Historico de la ciudad desde el año 1981 y que esta abierto al publico gratuitamente.
Upon entering the premises it is easy to spend time admiring the work on the walls, the natural lighting that comes through the skylight is very beautiful, an extremely calm and welcoming atmosphere, the palm trees give it a tropical touch although it also gives a good balance to the natural inside such a tall building.
There were several rooms on the ground floor, in addition to a second floor, I was only able to walk briefly through the reading room and through an exhibition of uscuras that they had in other rooms, where I spent the most time was in the restaurant, which has a rustic but delicious flavors.
Al entrar al recinto es facil pasar el tiempo admirando los trabajos en las paredes, la iluminacion natural que entra por el tragaluz es muy bonito, un ambiente sumamente calmado y acogedor, las palmeras le dan un toque tropical aunque tambien da un buen balance lo natural dentro de un edificio tan alto.
Habian varias salas en planta baja, ademas de un segundo piso, solo pude caminar brevemente por la sala de lectura y por una exposicion a uscuras que tenian en otras de las salas, donde mas tiempo pase fue en el restaurante que tiene una decoracion rustica pero sabores delicioso.
The restaurant that lives inside the palace is called La Huerfana, I suppose it was inspired by the street that runs in front of the palace, with a vegan menu, intense flavors and very warm attention. I had a pizza with arugula cheese and olives along with a juice. of passion fruit, the cost of these foods was around $10, which did not seem very expensive to me.
During my lunch I met a person who shared my table, who explained to me that the reading room also works as a book loan system for people, thus cultivating culture among young people.
El restaurante que tiene vida dentro del palacio se llama la Huerfana supongo yo que inspirados en la calle que pasa frente al palacio, con un menu vegano, sabores intensos y una atencion muy calida, comi una pizza con queso rucula y aceitunas junto a un jugo de maracuya el costo de dichos alimentos rondaba los 10$ lo cual no me parecio muy costoso.
Durante mi almuerzo conoci a una persona quien compartia mi mesa, la cual me explicaba que la sala de lectura tambien funciona como un sistema de prestamo de libros para las personas, cultivando asi la cultura entre los jovenes.

Sus espacios en general abiertos al publico funcionan como salas de exhibicion de arte, si pueden notar las fotos que subi hay algo parecido a lianas colgando por todas las esquinas del palacion, esta tambien forma parte de una exhibicion donde diferentes materiales estaban atados como si de una bola de estambre se tratase cubriendo casi todas las salas, hacia un camino, un concepto artistico muy divertido y original.
Yo quiero compartirles que la mejor manera de viajar es asi, caminando sin rumbo y escuchando tu intuicion, teniendo una vista activa de tu alrededor, puedes conseguir tesoros escondidos en las ciudades que no conoces, me despido con cariño nos vemos en un proximo post!!
