Hello, my beautiful and active Hive community. It's a pleasure to greet you again and share a bit about a stroll I took through the streets of Buenos Aires on a chilly yet sunny afternoon, with a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. But I couldn't stay at home. Autumn is not one of my favorite seasons, but I love how it prepares itself to welcome winter. Watching the leaves change colors in shades of red, yellow, and orange, forming a carpet of dry leaves on the ground everywhere, and the trees gradually turning into bare branches. As an immigrant, I hadn't had the opportunity to experience these seasonal changes before, as my home country, Venezuela, has a warm climate all year round, and these kinds of seasonal variations don't occur. There's no need to change to warmer clothes or check the temperature before going out, whether it's going to rain or be cold. It's many things that I hadn't been mindful of before, but now it has become a part of my routine here. Nowadays, I can't leave without checking the weather. .
Hola mi comunidad hermosa y activa de Hive, un gusto nuevamente saludarlos y compartir un poco de un paseo que hice por las calles de Buenos Aires, en una tarde fría pero soleada, con una temperatura de 10 º grados, pero que no podía quedarme en casa. La verdad que el otoño no es de mis mejores estaciones, pero me encanta la manera como ella se va preparando para recibir el invierno. Mirar las hojas como cambian de color en tonos rojizos, amarillos y naranjas, formando una alfombra de hojas secas en el suelo por doquier y los arboles poco a poco se van quedando en ramas secas. Como migrante no había tenido la oportunidad de vivir estos cambios de estación, ya que en mi país natal Venezuela no se experimentan estas estaciones, es un clima cálido todo el año y no existen esas modalidades como el cambio de ropa a mas abrigada, así como revisar la temperatura si quieres salir, si va llover, si va hacer frio, en fin muchas cosas que la verdad no estaba pendiente pero ya aquí se me hizo habitual!, ahora en estos tiempos no puedo salir sin ver el clima.
I was heading to a very emblematic café located on Avenida de Mayo in the city, and along the way, you could appreciate book kiosks, flower vendors, and many other things.
Me dirigía a un café muy emblemático que queda en la Avenida de Mayo de la ciudad y podías apreciar en el camino kioskos de libros, ventas de flores y muchas cosas mas.
We finally arrived at the famous place called Café Tortoni. It is the oldest café in the city of Buenos Aires, founded in 1858, it continues to be one of the favorite spots for Argentinians when it comes to enjoying a good coffee, having afternoon tea, and sharing moments with family and friends. As you enter, you can feel the history infused in every corner and the dedication of its workers, which ensures that the customers are satisfied with their service. This is why customers keep coming back and why the café has stood the test of time.
To enjoy this beautiful afternoon, I went in the company of my daughter Daniela. The coffee was incredibly delicious! It was a delightful outing, and I couldn't help but wonder how this place managed to endure over time and, above all, maintain the quality that characterizes it, making it one of the chosen ones where people line up to get in. I realized that the magic of the place lies in its age; as soon as you enter, it tells you a story, and above all, it has preserved and maintained its structure for 165 years!
Al fin llegamos al famoso lugar, se llama Café Tortoni , es el café mas antiguo de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, fundado en 1858 y sigue siendo uno de los sitios predilectos por los argentinos a la hora de tomar un buen café, merendar y compartir en familia y amigos. Al entrar ves la historia impregnada en todas partes y el compromiso que tienen sus trabajadores, lo que hace que el cliente quede satisfecho con su servicio, vuelva a regresar y se haya mantenido en el tiempo.
Para disfrutar de esta hermosa tarde fui en compañía de mi hija Daniela, el café estuvo demasiado rico!, fue una cita muy agradable en donde me preguntaba como este lugar se había podido mantener en el tiempo y sobre todo mantener la calidad que lo caracteriza para seguir siendo uno de los elegidos y hacer colas para poder entrar, comprobé que la magia del lugar esta en el hecho de ser un sitio tan antiguo, desde que entras te cuenta la historia y sobre todo conservar y mantener su estructura desde hace 165 años!

After enjoying that delicious coffee, we continued strolling until we reached Casa Rosada, where the President of Argentina lives. We enjoyed the beautiful sunset since, in autumn, the days become shorter and the nights longer. The temperature dropped a bit more, but it didn't hinder us from continuing to enjoy the bustling streets, the cars, and everything typical of a megacity like Buenos Aires.
Después de disfrutar de ese rico café , seguimos paseando hasta llegar a la casa rosada donde vive el presidente de Argentina, disfrutamos del bello atardecer ya que en otoño los días se van haciendo mas cortos y las noches mas largas, la temperatura fue bajando un poco mas pero no fue impedimento para seguir disfrutando de esas calles entre la gente afanada, los autos y todo lo típico de una megaciudad como lo es Buenos Aires.
I hope you enjoyed this stroll as much as I did, and someday you can experience this pleasant journey! For those who don't live in Argentina, it would be a great option to enjoy and explore, and for those who live here, it's always a good choice to break out of the routine.
