Thank you for sharing you hiking tour. You took a lot of pictures. I like the mix between wood and sea in your tour also the cold weather has its charm. We have been on a 12km tour last weekend. The weather was beautiful but it was cold. We felt the same as you after sitting in the warm car again.

I'm living near Cologne and we went to a tour the nearby Kerpen. There is a little castle called: 'Schloss Loersfeld' which was also the name of the tour. We didn't went in but we saw that there is a restaurant in it. Prices are on the higher end. The tour wasn't that great. I don't like it when there is to much street walking involved. My wife searched for a tour and did not check the street / wood ratio. Happened to me before too. But we enjoyed the fresh air and the hiking itself.
PS: Seat heating is the best. I know someone who can heat up the steering wheel so she doesn't get cold fingers. I was so jealous when she told me.
