I had a really busy and exciting birthday this year and as always, I love to share what I did on my birthday or at least document it since I enjoy looking back at memories.
OATH-TAKING CEREMONY FOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
So happy to be part of history! I was one of the oath-takers in the first-ever oath-taking ceremony in the Visayas and the second in the whole Philippines! It has been a long wait to finally be recognized and regulated in our country.
I was accompanied by my dad and he was so sweet to tell me he is proud of me and he asks for nothing more because I have accomplished all his wishes. Of course, I had to joke that I still need to give him a grandchild to make it complete. 🤣

BOHOL TRIP
After my oath-taking, I immediately rushed to the pier to ride the last boat going to Bohol which is a 2-hour ride from Cebu.
Bohol Island is known for its chocolate hills, tarsiers, floating restaurant, white sand beaches, and old churches. But I already went to those places years ago and my purpose for this trip was to eat and drink. 😁
We stayed in Jugalis Hotel and Restaurant in Sunshine Village, Panglao.
They have a beautiful garden, restaurant and a pool. It was well mantained, clean and not too expensive. We had a terrace, a small kitchen area, and a spacious bathroom. Although they might need to upgrade their bed and pillows cause it was uncomfy. 😅 I heard that the hotel was designed to be a retirement home but I guess plans changed. It's accessible if you have loved ones with disabilities and on a wheelchair. They also have houses for rent for long term rent.

A stolen picture of me getting confused about what to eat first. 🤣 Loving the seafood dinner at Coco Vida Restaurant along Alona beach! We had calamari, sizzling squid, tiger prawns, pancit canton, beef pepper steak, and prawn Mexicana.
Welcome to Snackbar!
We went to a local bar called Snackbar and spent the whole evening drinking and talking. The staff/bartenders were super friendly and accommodating. I see lots of local foreigners there and they all seem to know each other. After drinking, we went back to Alona beach to see what's up but ended up in a massage parlor. I fell asleep so didn't really know if my 20 USD was worth it. 🥲🥲🥲 hahaha It was expensive, tourist price for sure since I only pay 7 USD in Cebu. lol
To end our trip, our friend took us to Bohol Social Club where you have an amazing view of the island. The ocean looked so inviting, unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to snorkel in their marine sanctuary. But if you ever visit that place, you might want to inquire the front desk about that. We had brunch in their cafe with an overlooking seaview and the guys took a dip in their infinity pool. While I enjoyed sipping my fresh mango juice.

While on the way to the pier and waiting for our trip back to Cebu, we dropped by a foodpark to have lunch and I had dragonfruit ice cream at Bohol Bee Farm.
FOOD, DRINKS AND FUN
Our friend took us out on a fancy dinner date for my birthday. We went to Anzani restaurant which I consider one of the best places to bring your loved one or your date. 😉 For starters, we had soup and vegetable salad. The guys ordered their steaks and ribs while I had vongole pasta for the main. We had wine, beer, and a margarita. Their creme brulee is my favorite! My birthday cake and limoncello shots were on the house. ♥️
I wasn't able to check the bill because our friend paid for it but I guess the estimated cost would be above 200 USD for 3 people (just an FYI if you want to eat there). I wish I can afford to take my parents. *manifesting. or hmmm I should make it a goal to bring them there in December when my dad comes back. 😁

Oh just to insert how loved I am by my boyfie and his family, I woke up to a new computer set! I got a mac mini! My laptop can finally take a break. 🤣

Burn or Earn?
After dinner, we decided to go to the casino at Waterfront Hotel to try our luck in roulette. It's my second time going to the casino and I've always been curious about it cause my mom is a fan and my stepdad is a slot machine technician. LOL Maybe I will follow my mom's footsteps? HAHA It's crazy how much people spend there! I wonder what they do for a living. 🤣 Also, I didn't spend anything, being a thrifty gal. My friend gave me chips to play around, he's the rich guy. 🤣 It was a lucky night, cause he got 80% profit (ofcourse with my help). 😎
April 19th
On the day of my birthday, I decided to celebrate it with my family at home. Just a simple dinner my dad prepared for his annoying and mean daughter. 🤣 My cousin and auntie helped in the preparation. ♥️ I had three cakes given by my parents, my boyfie's mom and my cousin and his wife. We had beef steak, chicken cordon bleu, fried chicken, spaghetti, and garlic shrimps. Then for desserts we had maja blanca, fruit salad and ice cream. 🥳
Thankful for another year! Cheers to 28 years of ups and downs, heartbreaks and falling inlove, tears and smiles, failing and trying again, and another cheers to growth and adventures!!!
