It's been a while since our last trip on a freshwater adventure. We always dive on the sea water which is also good for our body and mind.

Hello, Hive world it's me again @chimegipamus sharing with you our not-so-ordinary adventure. Let's go!

We were going to visit our friend's house in Argao that day and no itinerary for going anywhere except their house. As we were traveling by car from our place I scanned my cellphone and came across this beautiful scenic place which was also located near the barangay that we were about to go.

So we changed the plan, it was still early in the morning for we departed very early from our house. We decided to visit the place and take a short swim. Going there from Argao proper was so smooth since the streets were all cemented. We follow Google Maps so we will not get lost.
The map tells us that we have already reached the destination in Barangay Catang but there is nothing there. We turn back and ask someone where is Ka Treasure Water Terraces.

The people told us some directions, so we went back to where we stopped and continued our trip going there. It was far from what Google Maps told us because it was located in the heart of Barangay Catang. Maybe the streets are not updated yet. After the cemented road we came into a bumpy small road. It was like in a movie wrong turn. Like a roller coaster where we go up and down the road. They made fun of me cause whenever we went down so steep I closed my eyes and cried for help.

Just when we reached the parking area, the terraces were on a very sharp steep downhill. There were some vehicles also parked over there. My hubby decided not to leave the car so we descended and parked near the resort. If I walk it takes almost fifteen minutes to go downhill but when I ride it only takes five minutes my nerves and my heart beat faster as it is so steep.

Thank God we arrived safe and parked inside the resort. The beautiful "A houses" welcome us and take away the fear that once I felt. My sister and I take a lot of poses. They even have an ATV and we rode on it just to take a pose. We paid our entrance fee of one hundred pesos each for adults and fifty pesos for the kids with fifty pesos for the parking fee.

Because the water and the nature were so enticing that we forgot the experience that we had in going there. We change our clothes and slowly walk into the terraces. At first, I thought it was slippery but to my surprise, it was not because it was made of dolomite and limestones. The waters that flowed came from a spring and it was very cold.

They called it Water terraces due to its form like terraces in Banaue where water flows from the top to the bottom. Each big stair is made into a swimming pool. There were different levels in each stair. When you go down the first two stairs are for kids but when you reach the third level up to the last one it reaches up to seven feet.

The waters are so cold and clear, there were also rock formations that when the water dropped it was likened to a waterfall. They have lots of overnight rooms available and it was very affordable. You can enjoy the beauty of nature not only on the terraces but also the entire resort for it is secluded with lush vegetation. The sounds you can hear are the birds chirping and the water flows.

You can also bring your food without any corkage or even grill anything at their grilling place. They have small cottages and tables for rent also. You can also rent tents and spend your night in the tent at night. I also love their restrooms and dressing rooms, the cleanliness, and the design.

We stayed for about two hours swimming and enjoying the nature. It was Tuesday morning and fewer people came to visit. When we decided to leave we took a bath first on their "pasong" like a small pool where they store water but it's flowing. Then we change and remember again the sharpness of the road and it's now going up.

My husband figured out something before leaving the place. We should put our heavy things on the back portion of the car so the tire can hold and not slide. Yes, it was very effective. Though the first motorbike in front of us had an accident going up thank God we went safely on top.

I will always treasure the place and wanted to come back but when I remembered the sharp slope of the road I decided not to. If you want to visit the place do it during summer and not in the rainy season cause the road might be too slippery.

Overall it was a great adventure that I always remember. Good place to spend a night with your loved ones. That would be all for today, I hope you enjoy reading my story. Have a great day everyone!
