Greetings Hive bloggers I hope you are well. As usual, I am going to tell about an exciting trip that we made to one of the most beautiful places in my country "La Gran Sabana" specifically the MANTOPAY Camp.
The Guire (jeep cj7-79) behaved the best and after about 24 hours of travel, under a torrential downpour and several stops, we found ourselves climbing the Sierra de Lema, with its distant waterfalls, its freshness and its beautiful vegetation.
As we descended from the mountains, the immense green sea opened up in front of us, we were at the gates of the Gran Sabana.
We moved forward and took the detour towards Kavanayen, quickly the paved road disappeared and in its place a very beautiful chained road would be our companion from now on.
We traveled a few km and arrived at an almost obligatory stop, a bakery in the middle of the greenery. After we turned to the right to see a pretty little waterfall with a respectable descent that was wet, well it was kind of rude hahahahahaha.
Leaving that place, the Indian lying down could be seen through the stormy sky, we would soon arrive at Mantopay.
We entered the detour towards Mantopay, we went down a stone slope, we passed through a small forest of galleries, we ran right next to the river and when we came out of a curve before our eyes the MANTOPAY Camp, one of the most remote Camps in the Country.
Everything is green here, in the background the Sororopan Tepuy (or the Indian woman lying down) to one side the refreshing river and ordered one after the other are the stone malocas with a roof of a kind of palm tree in the middle of them are the baths the temperature It is very refreshing in the afternoon, there are no pests, no electricity, no telephone signal, a paradise.
Well, we rented a maloca, we prepared dinner and went to sleep. The next day we went to the slab on the river, we walked around, we climbed the hills and above all we got closer as a family.
We spent several days in this beautiful place and then we continued our walk through the southwestern section of the Gran Sabana but I will tell you about this in another next installment. See you later hivebloggers and may peace be with you.
