Looks like a nice place to spend some time. The gardens look splendid. Blows my mind all the lives lost over the two world wars. Frustrates me the fact younger generations seem oblivious to the freedoms they have because of those names on the walls.

You and me both, I was speaking to someone who had no idea and asked who were they between etc. It is flabberghasting.
It is a cool place, lovely to sit in summer.
But yes the lives lost is ridiculous and of course more get lost every single day.
