For my 7-year-old daughter, it was the first time she had ridden on a boat, she was happy and very excited. The first thing I did was secure them firmly with a safety vest until we reached the island's boat dock. Once we arrived at the dock of the island, Mr. “Coco” was waiting for us, very kind and courteous, he took us from that boat area where he told us that it was beautiful but that there was a lot of marine vegetation, so he insisted that we take us to the other side of the island, exactly to the east, crossing the island full of scattered bushes native to the area that provided a lot of shade for those who did not have an umbrella or awning to shelter from the harsh sun rays.
Once we arrived at the east side of the island, he offered us to sit in a space that included four chairs and an awning that gave us enough shade and at the same time enough space to receive the rich breeze, with a direct view of the turquoise blue sea, which It led me to take the panoramic shot with my cellular device that started me dedicating myself to making this post. On the island you will find very friendly people giving you seafood and drinks so you can taste their cuisine, which are fish with banana and salads for prices from ten dollars ($10) onwards, delicious cocktails for five dollars ($5), Many people brought their cavas with their own food and drinks, that way they saved money. On the trip you can bring pets such as dogs or cats, the turquoise blue water looks wonderful, totally crystal clear for diving in shallow waters, seeing the corals and fish in the area creates a spectacular environment to admire the natural beauties of the island. The stay on the island was approximately five (5) hours, since we had agreed with the boat captain to pick us up at 03:30 pm. Mi viaje inicia con una salida en el pueblo de Chichiriviche del estado Falcón el 14 de octubre del 2023 en nuestra querida Venezuela desde el Resort Islas del Sol en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy, que se encuentra a tan solo 3,5 kilómetros del puerto de embarcación privado, e incluía traslado del Resort en vehículo privado hasta el muelle, traslado en una lancha hasta Cayo Muerto y retorno hasta el Resort.
La salida del muelle fue espectacular, nos dijeron que cuando llegáramos a la isla, teníamos que buscar al señor “Coco”, yo estaba con mis dos hijos y mi esposa. Para mi hija de 7 años era primera vez que se montaba en una lancha, estaba feliz y muy emocionada.
Lo primero que hice fue asegurarlos firmemente con un chaleco flotador de seguridad hasta llegar al muelle de embarcación de la isla. Una vez que llegamos al muelle de la isla, el señor “Coco” nos estaba esperando, muy amable y cortés nos trasladó de esa zona de embarcación en donde nos comentó que era bonita pero que había mucha vegetación marina, por lo que nos insistió en llevarnos al otro lado de la isla, exactamente al este, atravesando la isla llena de arbustos dispersos autóctonos de la zona que daban mucha sombra para quienes no llevaban alguna sombrilla o toldo poder cobijarse de los inclementes rayos solares.
Una vez llegamos al lado este de la isla nos ofreció sentarnos en un espacio que incluía cuatro sillas y un toldo que nos daba sombra suficiente y a su vez suficiente espacio para recibir la rica brisa, con vista directa al mar de color azul turquesa, lo que me llevó a hacer la toma panorámica con mi dispositivo celular que dio inicio a que me dedicara a realizar este post.
En la isla vas a encontrar personas muy amables dándote de probar mariscos y bebidas para que degustes de su gastronomía que son pescados con plátano y ensaladas por precios desde diez dólares (10$) en adelante, deliciosos cócteles en cinco dólares (5$), muchas personas llevaron sus cavas con sus propios alimentos y bebidas de esa manera se ahorra dinero.
En el viaje puedes llevar mascotas como perros o gatos, el agua de color azul turquesa se ve maravillosa, totalmente cristalina para practicar buceo en aguas poco profundas, ver los corales y los peces de la zona crea un ambiente espectacular para admirar las bellezas naturales de la isla.
