INTRODUCTION
Good day, my fellow hivers! Today I am going to show you a rare and exciting photos of our satisfying short visit to JSU-PSU, or Japan Seafarers Union-Philippine Seafarers Union Mariner's Court (a hotel) in Legaspi Ext., Cebu City, just yesterday, November 22, 2023, Wednesday. This is due to the wonderful Annual Minister's Conference. In line with this, my husband was one of the singers who were told to sing in a choir. So, we were given one vast hall for the conference on the 3rd floor of the building. While waiting for the event, I had the pleasure of taking photos inside and outside the allocated venue.
EXTRAORDINARILY ENGINEERED FACADE WITH A SHIP RESEMBLANCE
THE ENTRANCE
Upon entry to the hotel, there is a breathtaking way in as gorgeous crystal-like chandelier shimmeringly waving at us. The gleeing reindeers, and huge Christmas tree adornment for the coming yultide season are all setting off much enjoyment for the eyes.Thus the ambience is so inviting, which offers magnificent accommodations to tourists and visitors from around the globe.
A BOW SHIP FORMED RECEPTION AREA
Amusing to look at is their reception area. Still, it has the shape of a ship's bow. This is where a receptionist caters to customers for check-ins and check-outs.
Around the receiving area are various fascinating wall decors to allure few queueing customers or visitors. Surely, its concept is designed based on hospitality for tired travelers. The wonderful view around, like the painting, the spellbound embedded decorative ship on the left wall, leave me astonished.
ACTIVITY HALL
A spacious, cool, and comfortable activity hall is prepared before us. It has a welcoming atmosphere that caters to a hundred- to thousand-seat capacity. It is equipped with a mesmerizing audio-visual system and a magical lead wall. Perfect for all occasions, meetings, and all decent events you can name.
OUTSIDE VIEW OF MARINER'S COURT
Added to its splendid men's state-of-the art hotel are the nature's simple beauty yet captivating ever. The soothing sight of the different flowers, trees, etc. is mind-blowing. I couldn't help but smile and even chuckle as I felt a touch of those delicate textures of God-made entities. Its fragrance is a chiller from hustle-bustle city life. A moment I spent there served as a ton of relaxation.

The Japanese Seafarer's Union-Philippines Seafarer's Union is the best emulation of friendship between two different cultures and contrasting blood, like that of the Filipino and Japanese seafarers.
In addition to their preeminent mutual support and reverence, the structure serves as a ticket for spirited cross-cultural settings like diversity of experiences, scolastic aquaintances, and reflecting the values between Japanese and Filipinos, which has also had a great positive impact on their customs, lifestyles, and traditions.
The foundation of these alliances in terms of economic furtherance, socio-relationship depth, progress, and civilization equivalence is a persisting proof that a country's diversity is not a restraint to achieving life's pursuit when two become one in heart and soul. ☺️
Seas are not always our enemy; this is quite different from my previous blog, where I showed the violence of waves and storms in our lives. Nevertheless, at this point in time, I can say that the seas can ship friends unknown to us in terms of tongues, cultures, and traditions, but are recognized to be one with us in hearts and minds as Filipinos.
