Hello everyone, I would like to tell you a little about one of the places I went to on vacation last year.
This is called the National Aquarium of Cuba. An excellent place to enjoy with your family, and one that the little ones love.
As its name indicates, it is located in Havana, so it took us about 4 and a half hours to get there from our province. But I assure you, it is worth it.
The entrance is spectacular, you can see statues of dolphins, simulating that they swim.
From the road you can see the large sign indicating that we have reached our destination.
From the beginning the emotion is incredible. After entering, if you walk a little further forward, you can find an area full of inflatable life jackets, and several umbrellas to avoid sunbathing if you wish.
During that time you can do whatever you want, see the facilities of the place, the animals that live there. Everything is really fabulous. All surrounded by people and children running from one place to the other because of the excitement they have.
When it comes to food, almost everything can be found in USD, so we decided to bring our own since we don't have that currency. So I won't be able to tell you the variety of things there were to consume.
After we have done all that we begin to wait for show time to begin. A sign begins to indicate which place we should go. Then we sat down and started listening to the music. Everything indicated that what we, the dolphins, had been waiting for was about to begin. We were more or less sitting waiting for about five minutes until two men came out, who were the dolphins' trainers. Then the dolphins come out and everyone starts clapping and shouting with excitement.
Then they begin to do a large number of acrobatic numbers. This show lasts approximately two and a half hours. Then the trainers and dolphins say goodbye to you. That's where people who want photos with them should go. Although clearly you have to pay it in USD. So I didn't have that possibility. But the entire trip was excellent.
After everything was over we returned to the car to go home. It was a unique experience.
From what I have been told, the place is now under repair, since there were facilities which needed urgent maintenance. So when they finish the place will be even more beautiful. So since they finish I will without fail be there again.
Thank you all very much for your support and don't forget to visit the National Aquarium of Havana.
Note: I would like to apologize for the quality of some photos. The thing is that they are taken from my phone, an Oppo A74, and some were also taken while moving.
