Hello beautiful readers today I am taking you on a journey to Tosh. We began our adventure from Kasol making our was through snow covered roads. The weather was chill and as the snowflakes fell the path became slippery and challenging. But every step was worth it as Tosh welcomed us with breathtaking views. The mountains were totally covered with snow.
We parked our car in a safe spot and continued our journey on foot. The path ahead was slippery and difficult, making each step a cautious one. Despite the challenging terrain the excitement in the air was palpable with many fellow travellers enjoying the fresh snowfall. As we carefully made our way forward, we finally crossed a quaint bridge that led us into Tosh village.
At this time we found ourselves in the hearth of Tosh village surrounded by the serene beauty of snowfall gently falling from the sky. The peacefulness was overwhelming with only the sound of crunching snow beneath our feet. The path was narrow winding through the village and the cold was intensifying with each step. Yet the charm of the place made the chill seem insignificant. We paused to take in the breathtaking views, fully immersed in the tranquility of this Himalayan haven.
We came across a stunning wooden house, its stone slate roof covered in a thick layer of snow. The architecture was breathtaking blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. These traditional wooden houses are built to withstand the harsh Himalayan climate, offering warmth in winter and coolness in summer. Inside the cozy ambience provides a refuge from the cold, while in the warmer months, the cool interiors offer a refreshing escape from the heat.
After a short walk we stumped upon an open spot with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect place to stop and soak in the beauty. We took a movement to capture the stunning scenery, snapping photos of the snow covered landscape. As we lingered the snowfall intensified, and soon the entire area was blanketed in white.
After some time we saw a beautiful temple nested in the middle of the village. We entered to take darshan and seek blessings. The temple was an architectural marvel, built with exquisite wooden craftsmanship. The intricate wooden carving on the walls and doors were stunning showcasing the skilled artistry of the region.
After exiting the village we had a half hour walk to reach our campsite for the night. The path was a bit challenging with slippery snow and uneven terrain. Along a way we came across a narrow wooden bridge covered in snow. It was only wide enough for one person to cross at a time adding a sense of adventure to the journey. We carefully made our way across, enjoying the thrill of the moment and the beauty of the snow covered surroundings.
Finally we reached our campsite located in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature. The views were absolutely breathtaking with the majestic mountains towering in the distance and the serene valley stretching out before us. The snowfall had stopped and the crisp clear air made everything feel even more magical. We sat back soaking in the beauty of the moment feeling incredibly fortunate to be in such a tranquil setting, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
It was quite cold so the camp staff set up a bonfire to keep us warm. After the long trek our feet and bodies were frozen, but the warmth of the fire quickly melted the chill away. We gathered around feeling the heat on our faces as we relaxed. The atmosphere was lively as we started chatting, gossiping with friends and fellow travelers.
Soon after the camp staff brought us warm tea and it felt like the perfect moment. Sippy the hot tea surrounded by snow we could feel the warmth spreading through our bodies, easing the chill from the day’s trek. The tea along with the peaceful surrounding made everything feel even more special.
We were having an absolute blast with music playing and everyone singing along to their favourite songs. The vibe was infectious and soon we were all dancing to the rhythm of local tunes. The laughter and joy echoed through the campsite as we bonded over the music and the moment.
The night view of the village was simply mesmerising. The soft glow of the lights reflected of the fresh snow creating a magical atmosphere. The snow covered rooftops shimmered under the starlit sky, and the quiet village looked like something out of a dream. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with adventure and beauty.
