What’s up to all my fellow hivers! So for today’s blog, I'm going to tell you about my adventures on Negros Island's City of Gentle People.
Negros Island's largest city is City of Gentle People. The city is known for its vibrant Buglasan Festival, ancestral homes, and, of course, delicious silvanas. Travelers from Asia and Europe flock to the city for its exotic locales.
Dumaguete is a city in the southern Philippine island of Negros. But for now on, I'll talk about my adventures in the Negros Island province.
And it was my first visit to the island, and I found it to be quite tranquil and lovely.
THE JOURNEY
I traveled alone to Negros Island to meet my friend and went to Montain View Resort Bar and Restaurant in Don Salavador Benedicto, Negros Island. This restaurant offered variety of menus and the taste were so good.
And I was charmed by its natural beauty. The best thing to do is enjoy the scenery while enjoying breakfast or a cup of steaming coffee.
MT. KANLAON
When we arrived at our next destination, I was completely stunned by the magnificence of the mountain, and it was only later that I discovered it was the Kanlaon Volcano, or Mount Kanlaon.✌️
Mount Kanlaon, also known as Kanlaon Volcano, is an active stratovolcano on the Philippine island of Negros. It is also the highest point in the Visayas. As far as I know, Mount Kanlaon is the world's 42nd tallest mountain on an island.
According to locals, Mt. Kanlaon protects the province from hurricanes, which explains why the island gets rain but not heavy floods that reach up to the waist. It's also where the province's majority of trees may be found.
Our next stop was my friend’s vicinity, where i was staying for 2 days. He then took me on a tour of his parents' property, and all I did was capturing everything because I adore nature.
There is also a swimming pool in the area.
