Baganga. What a marvel you are!
Hello to all my fellow hivers! How’s your day going so far? So for todays blog. I'm going to show you around Baganga, Davao Oriental, where I spent my last holiday week. As a result, I'm going to take you on a tour of their fantastic tourist attractions!
It has been a real treat to finally be able to appreciate and see the beauty of country's tourism attractions up and personal. Connecting with the residents and learning about the history of this gem of a town has awaken my interest in returning but this time with a purpose.
And hey, it wouldn’t be an adventure with these people behind this if they didn’t try to convince me of what I could do to improve my blogging.. Yes, this is my 19th blog.
So we had a four-hour motorcycle ride from Bislig City to Baganga, Davao Oriental! Imagine driving a motorcycle for four hours only to view the sights. So, Baganga place have been so incredibly raw and I could only hope it continues to remain so. The nature, the people out there, the fresh air, the hospitality, everything!
Our itinerary were to witness the relaxing and beautiful view of Poo Sandbar, San Victor Island, Resort Cartagena, Curtain Falls and Aliwagwag Falls in Baganga, Davao Oriental. If tourists want to see these tourist attractions in their full glory, they should visit as early as now.
When you arrive at your first itinerary like what we did, stop by the Poo Sandbar Tourism and Information Center before heading to the area.
DESTINATIONS:
So let us start with the beach.
POO SANDBAR
A must-see attraction in Baganga. The main land is only 3 minutes away. Fine sand and a peaceful setting make this a great spot for family and barkada get-togethers. The cleanliness was excellent. The costs are really low. All I can say is that you will arrive happy and leave happy! From the sea to the mountains, the island is breathtaking.
SAN VICTOR ISLAND
You may walk barefoot all day on the pristine white sand in the said Island making it an ideal area to unwind and relax. The location is ideal for instagram yes I can tell that. It was my first visit to San Victor Island, but it won't be my last; I'm sure I'll return because I adore the place.
RESORT CARTAGENA
Come dive into the cool waters of Resort Cartagena. Highly recommended, with extremely affordable costs and a welcoming and fresh environment. Perfect for a summer vacation! The lake's waters are very cold clear and refreshing, and there are plenty of water activities to enjoy, such as bamboo rafting.
Overall, the cold spring and the surrounding environment are really refreshing.
CURTAIN FALLS
Magnificent! The curtain design is well-known for its curtain falls. It's best described as a hidden gem. This waterfall is somewhat like Tinuy-an Falls in Bislig City, Surigao del sur. Although this waterfalls may not be well-known however it is a magical. The thing that struck me the most about the place was how natural it appeared.
Don’t worry, I will make another blog to this waterfall.
ALIWAGWAG FALLS
A massive and wide waterfall with a breathtaking view. The rushing water creates white bubbles that makes it look like creamy milk. The place was temporarily closed when we visited but you can still enjoy the magnificent view by the bridge. Experiencing it was truly one of a kind. Please try and visit.
How to travel to get in Curtain Falls?
- Take a trip from Bislig City to Bagangga, Davao Oriental
- The amount of time it takes to get there roughly 4 hours from Bislig City, and 3 hours from Davao City.
- When you arrive in Bagangga, go to the terminal and take a motorcycle and ask how to get Curtain Falls.
So, leave nothing but memories.
