I wrote the first part about our trip to Alanya a long time ago. And it's been a long time and now I'm writing the second part! I know it's a little strange that I have such a long delay, but I can't do anything about it 😅! So here we go, to be continued!
In the last post, I wrote about coming to Alanya and walking along the shore. And in this part, I will write about what we came for - this is the wall of Alanya! For those who did not see my previous post and the photo of the wall from below, here is a short story. This is a wall located on a mountain near the famous Cleopatra beach, and you can climb it by lift.
By the way, a little about Cleopatra Beach. Cleopatra, the last queen of Egypt (as everyone probably knows), having met Mark Antony, the Roman commander of the Silicia Region, fell in love with him. This is where the name of the world-famous Alanya Cleopatra Beach comes from. By the way, I guessed that Cleopatra was involved in the name. Couldn't they just call the beach like that 😉
Let's go to the wall again. This fortress has gone through wars and therefore has a long history. But I will not tell you about the history of the wall, so you can search on Google. Well, I will start our story. After resting in the apartment, we took a taxi to the ski lift. We drove up and bought our tickets.
Then, after a long line (and there were really a lot of people there), we waited for our lift. The way it started here was a bit strange. We had to catch the lift while it was passing through the landing zone, but of course it was slowing down a bit.
And now we finally climb the mountain above the beautiful scenery! This clear water fascinates me! She looks very beautiful. There are millions of huts with orange roofs, it's so beautiful. And dense forests add beauty to the mountains.
And finally we arrived at the top! The views were unparalleled. I watched and admired all this. There were many plants on the mountain itself. And as I noticed, they are very well taken care of here! Workers water them all. And for greater comfort, they made wooden paths painted with paint.
These species are simply amazing. And for better observation, there are a lot of viewing platforms here. And finally we start to walk along the stone ruins. I am fascinated by the length of this wall. There are more than 100 towers on this wall, 150 to be exact. By the way, there is a very strong vegetation here, from pines to cacti. And there was also one sakura.
We have passed the first half of the way. There was a cafe here and we decided to rest. I got myself a hot chocolate, and my sister and mother got coffee. As I noticed, there are a lot of mosques in Turkey. And even here there is one! After a short rest, we continued.
A cat with a very interesting color, black, white, orange, was sitting on the bench. And he also had a very sharp temper. After a few photos, he pounced on me and started hissing. There was a small cemetery here. Probably since the time of the great wars. There were many ruins and strange walls here, and we looked at it all very carefully.
There was a long street with many cars parked on it and another cafe. We approached the wall to see how high it was. But when we approached and looked down, I felt dizzy. There was a huge height here. I was very afraid of falling. But the views are breathtaking.
This incredible wall reaches all the way to the sea. I cannot enjoy this beauty. But it's time to go home because it's getting dark. I hope you enjoyed my post!
Bye bye everyone! ⛰️🚡

I don't know that there is a similiar wall in Turkey to great wall in China.
The landscape around is really beautiful too. @darine.darine
Well, I wouldn't say that it is the same as in China, but it is a little similar. I like the scenery too.
The Great Wall of China is unique in the world (in my opinion), but this Turkish wall is also spectacular, if I ever visit Turkey I would love to visit this tourist attraction.
Yes, the Great Wall of China is unique, I wrote more like this for the title. But this wall really impressed me too.
