The best way to appreciate this beauty is simply to walk through the streets of the city: mosaic is everywhere!
However, if you want to learn more, there is a museum called Museo Artistico del Mosaico (MAM) where the thousand-year history of mosaic is told and some artisans show how this technique works.
Il modo migliore per apprezzare questa bellezza è semplicemente passeggiare tra le vie della città: il mosaico è ovunque!
Però, se volete approfondire, esiste un museo chiamato Museo Artistico del Mosaico (MAM) dove si narra la storia millenaria del mosaico e alcuni artigiani fanno vedere come funziona questa tecnica.

Over the centuries, the experts have tried to preserve this priceless treasure as best as possible. In fact, the restorations are entrusted to important Italian art schools such as the Academy of Fine Arts.
Nel corso dei secoli, gli studiosi hanno cercato di preservare al meglio questo inestimabile tesoro. Infatti, i restauri sono affidati a delle importanti scuole d’arte italiane con l’Accademia delle Belle Arti.

I mentioned earlier that Ravenna is not only famous for its mosaics. Many tourists come here because it is home to the famous tomb of Dante Alighieri. He was a famous Italian poet who lived from 1265 to 1321.
In addition to the tomb, which is a beautiful example of a neoclassical monument, there is also a garden and a cloister where it is very pleasant to take a walk.
Prima ho accennato che Ravenna non è famosa solo per i mosaici. Molti turisti si recano qui perché si trova la famosa tomba di Dante Alighieri. Si tratta di un famoso poeta italiano vissuto negli anni 1265-1321.
Oltre alla tomba, che è un bellissimo esempio di monumento neoclassico, è presente anche un giardino e un chiostro dove è molto piacevole fare una passeggiata.
