That marble work inside of the Basilica is amazing. I also love that decoration on the walls. I must admit that the bell tower is not my favorite as it's way too modern, but the rest of the Basilica is pretty.
I am sorry to hear about your condition, but I hope that with the right treatment and some faith (even though you are not religious) it will get better.
