The highest point that I ever reached was about 3600 m above sea level. I can imagine that being at almost 5000m you must feel lightheaded of dizzy. But I would definitely try it 🙂

Fortunately the altitude didn't hit me because I arrived a day earlier to the city of Merida which is at 1,630 m and I guess I acclimatized a little hehe, and the day I went to the cable car, as the ascent is gradual, spending some time at each station, I guess that's why the altitude affects less.

Having access to places like this for free is one of the best things about being a journalist hahaha, thanks so much for appreciating my post!
