My visit to the Egyptian Museum in Curitiba

Last Sunday, I visited the Egyptian Museum of Curitiba, a place I'd long wanted to visit and that had always captured my attention. Upon entering, I felt immediately transported to ancient Egyptian civilization, surrounded by an atmosphere that evoked mystery and wonder. The museum is divided into three main areas, each dedicated to different aspects of Egypt's rich culture.

El domingo pasado visité el Museo Egipcio de Curitiba, un lugar que había querido conocer por mucho tiempo y que siempre había capturado mi atención, al entrar, me sentí inmediatamente transportado a la antigua civilización egipcia, rodeado de un ambiente que evocaba misterios y maravillas. El museo está dividido en tres áreas principales, cada una dedicada a diferentes aspectos de la rica cultura egipcia.

I was impressed by the authentic and replica artifacts, such as statues of gods, elaborate jewelry, and everyday utensils that reflected the daily life of the ancient Egyptians.

Me impresionaron los artefactos auténticos y réplicas, como estatuas de dioses, joyas elaboradas y utensilios del día a día que reflejaban la vida cotidiana de los antiguos egipcios.

The royal mummies were definitely the most fascinating, although photos weren't allowed in that area, which made the experience even more special. Looking at those mummies made me reflect on the passage of time and the beliefs in life after death that the Egyptians had.

Las momias reales fueron, sin duda, lo más fascinante, aunque no se permitían fotos en esa área, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más especial, mirar esas momias me hizo reflexionar sobre el paso del tiempo y las creencias en la vida después de la muerte que tenían los egipcios.

I also visited hieroglyphics and decorated sarcophagi, each with a story to tell. The museum's atmosphere was peaceful, allowing me to further immerse myself in the history and art of such an interesting civilization. As I walked through the halls, I felt that each object had a profound meaning that deserved to be observed and photographed.

Además, visité jeroglíficos y sarcófagos decorados, cada uno con una historia que contar, la atmósfera del museo era tranquila, lo que me permitió sumergirme aún más en la historia y el arte de una civilización tan interesante, a medida que recorría las salas, sentí que cada objeto tenía un significado profundo que merecía ser observado y fotografiado.

It was undoubtedly an unforgettable experience that sparked my interest in ancient Egypt and its legacy. I hope to return soon to continue learning and exploring all the secrets this fascinating museum has to offer.
