Hello, everyone 😊

In my previous post [https://peakd.com/hive-163772/@deska89/my-wednesday-walk-to-the-ethnographic-complex-damascena-part-1] I told you the beginning of my visit to the incredibly beautiful complex "Damascena", full of a lot of history and the aroma of..roses 🌹 And after sharing with you some of the most remarkable sculptures of the complex and the rose oil distillery, today I would like to continue the interesting walk, I hope for you too 🙃
After parting with Bay Ganyo and its creator Aleko Konstantinov, my friend and companion in this walk, we continued to Waterfall St. George the Victorious, which is located in the eastern part of the complex right next to the distillery.

All over the park areas there were various vintage facilities, wooden artworks and lots of relaxation areas where you can sit and enjoy the fresh rose air..

A very favorite shot that shows how friendly the swans are and actually very calm..

I was also very impressed by the Thracian Cultural Center, which was created as a museum, full of various signs and symbols related to Thracian culture and history. To be honest, it seemed a bit shiny to me, but historically I saw very interesting paintings, frescoes and fragments related to the life of the Thracians.

The sign of the Thracians, as a symbol of the Supreme Divine Power!

The cult of the Sun occupied a central place in the life of the Thracians, because they believed, and quite rightly so, that life and human existence were possible thanks to light and heat ☀️

The works of art depict the ancient Thracian cities of Sevtopolis and Kabile, about which there is so much preserved information that it becomes clear to us how ancient a people we Bulgarians are.

Here is still the lobby of the Thracian Cultural Center, where there is also a copy of the Panagyur gold treasure, discovered in 1949 near the Bulgarian town of Panagyurishte and is a set of nine vessels of pure gold with a total weight of over 6kg, most likely used for feasts and religious rituals, and their rich decoration is naturally connected with Thracian mythology.

Here, on the first floor, there is also Damascena shop (https://damascenashop.net/), where visitors can get various products made of quality rose oil and not only..

Besides the famous gyulovitsa - rose brandy, honey harvested from bees whose hives are in rose plantations, various cosmetic products based on rose oil, here you can also get a golden rose... what does this mean? Well the very flowers of the roses are poured with 24 carat gold..they say that the rose and gold are symbols of love, so the jewelers have managed to create this masterpiece of jewelry art for people with more "higher" requirements.

The rose on the left is gold and the one on the right is copper.

The jewelry is also very beautiful - it is also handmade and silver plated.

On the second floor is the restaurant, where every visitor can enjoy the author's menu of traditional Bulgarian dishes prepared with local products. I was impressed by the various cocktails and dishes based on....roses of course 🌹

In the hall of the covered part of one of the restaurants, there are also many works of art related to Thracian sanctuaries and mounds. And the view from the restaurant is...wow to the majestic Summer Amphitheatre, which aims to become the main stage for cultural events in the Rose Valley. The capacity of the amphitheater is 650 seats, apart from them, 350 seats from the restaurant itself have a great view of the stage. the arrangement itself is a giant basket full of over 100 varieties of roses.
