Yesterday my husband and I went to one of the most favorite tourist attractions in Jakarta, TMII. TMII stands for Taman Mini Indonesia Indah which means beautiful mini Indonesian park. In TMII there are many museums, miniature traditional houses from all cities in Indonesia. There are also several rides such as cable cars, etc. There is another thing that is no less beautiful, which is the lake. While walking around, I felt hungry and thirsty so we went around looking for a drink seller until we finally found a very beautiful lake.
Archipelago Lake is located in the center of TMII, quite far from the entrance. It will take a while if you walk from the entrance. However, you will be rewarded once you find the lake. The beautiful lake is surrounded by museum buildings and miniature traditional houses. You can just take beautiful photos and then move around to other places or sit by the lake while enjoying the view.
Archipelago Lake is a lake designed like the islands of Indonesia surrounded by water. In short, Archipelago Lake is a miniature of Indonesia's islands. In addition, Archipelago Lake is also equipped with a fountain that dances at night. I have never seen the dancing fountain show, but I am interested to see it next time I go to TMII.
I recommend this place for hive friends who are from outside Jakarta or outside Indonesia. In this place you can get to know Indonesia better. The entrance ticket is also cheap, only about twenty-five thousand rupiah per person.
