Sapa Lake
Sapa Lake is one of the icons of the city of Sapa. One of the beauties that makes this city special. The lake is located in the city center and is surrounded by beautiful buildings and hills filled with shady trees. The lake water looks very clear. In the center of the lake there is an artificial island planted with trees, adding to the beauty of the lake. There are some red ornaments that resemble lotus flowers placed in the lake, this makes the lake look more aesthetic. The atmosphere around the lake was very calm and the air was fresh. The view from the lake really looked unreal like in a painting. Until now, I still remember how beautiful Sapa Lake was. I often look through some of the photos I took and in some of them the lake looks unreal.
It was early morning when I arrived in Sapa city, the first place I visited was Sapa Lake. The cool air and slightly chilly weather reminded me of my hometown. I took a walk by the lake while breathing in the fresh air that I hadn't gotten in a long time due to living in a polluted capital city.
Honestly, when I was in this lake I felt like I was not in Southeast Asia but in Europe. Even the surrounding scenery such as buildings is also similar to Europe. Sapa Lake is by far the cleanest lake I have ever visited. The lake is really well preserved. Every day there are officers who clean the lake and take care of the plants around the lake.
In the morning, there are usually many residents or tourists jogging around the lake. Some locals usually pass by the bridge on the lake. During the day, people usually sit beside the lake. I don't know why, but I feel that around the lake is the most relaxing and cozy place in Sapa town.
The above is a bit of my experience when visiting Sapa Lake. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and I hope you like it.
