Love how the Mannekin Pis changes costumes every time, must be fun for whoever is responsible for coming up with a concept every season. Walking around Brussels is fun, not to mention stacking up on Belgian chocolates (Yum!). Take your pick- Belgian Chocolates or Swiss Chocolates and why? 😊
Great you featured the Musical Instrument Museum, I remember staring at the Art Nouveau style several meters away, which is a rare style to find in our part of the world.
To be honest, I don't know if I can compare them fairly.
I haven't bought a whole lot of Swiss chocolate while in the country. We bought one bar on one of our trips but that's it. I've bought it from the grocery store outside the country many times but I don't think that is the same as artisinal chocolate. Everything in Switzerland is just so expensive that we rarely buy any gift type things for ourselves. But Switzerland specializes in milk chocolate so if I wanted milk chocolate I would go with Swiss and if I wanted dark I'd go with Belgium. That's my answer lol 😆
Great reply 😁 I have never been to an artisanal Swiss chocolate shop and it is true that they're really expensive. I remember we had some Swiss Francs left before crossing the border and the only thing we thought of buying was a Swiss Chocolate bar from a gasoline convenience store. I swing towards dark chocolate, the more bitter the better.😁
Yeah I typically prefer dark chocolate as well. Once in a while I'll eat milk chocolate. It's delicious as well but I prefer dark lol.
I love dark too. 85% cocoa. I tried 95% but it was too bitter and buttery for my taste. What is your to go brand of dark chocolate?
I once tried a blue vegan type of chocolate with algae. It was good. I also tried lavender chocolate. Ah and I love chocolate filled with mint. And liquor candies. Ai ai ai
Ooh I have never tried one with algae, I'm curious to try it and love love liquor candies 😁 and the box of chocolates with surprise in every bite 😄
85% was the maximum I have tried. Would like to try 95% next time.
Ahh yes, I love all chocolate lol
The algae chocolate sounds interesting. I would try that.
If I'm buying chocolate from the grocery store I usually just buy Lindt brand but I don't recall the percentage - I think 75% but I'm not certain.
Uhm Lindt is good🥰🥰
